For game like this which is hella long and have a lot of things and details, not to mention bug can show up at anytime anywhere. Save is really needed for this kind of stuff. Imagine you play any game that is hella long and hard, we all can agree that dying is part of gameplay and that why we able to enjoy it. Sometime we laugh to death whenever we see funny bug that kill us. That because we can try from nearest point (if you save.). However it different story when it come to the point save is not available. Conclusion:Basically, this type of game need save because you can die anytime, especially with lot of bug with in game.

The disable saving thing is bad design, just by default, but if a game is going to have it, it has to be perfectly made. It has to have no bugs, no issues, no enemies spawning on top of you that give an instant game over.

Definitely. If the game was designed to have branching endings with like 5-15 minutes of content from the last save then that would be fine. It might be frustrating if you fail, but you only lose a few minutes of time with each attempt.... Allowing for there to be HOURS of content after the final save point is just bad design. (let's not even discuss the fact that there is no buffering zone for enemy spawn....that's just awful programming) because it leads to the possibility that the player will be unwilling to play any further. Honestly the ending really mars what would have otherwise been a great game.

There's also the fact that with the other animatronics, Gregory tells him that the parts belonged to his friends. With the claws, Freddy asks where he got them, and Gregory says "I'd rather not say." so Freddy doesn't know they're Monty's claws. He just thinks Gregory gave him A Pair Of Claws That He Found Somewhere, rather than Monty's claws.

3:29:21, Mark said it well. It wasn’t a good game, nor was it bad. Personally, I enjoyed it, and it was ok. Obviously there were some things in the game that should and shouldn’t have been done, but I will admit Steel Wool could have handled it better. Overall, I’d give the game a solid 7.5/10. While I did enjoy it, I understand why people didn’t like it. What makes the game stand out, is that it’s the first FNAF game to show off human characters, and it’s the first FNAF game to be free roam. If anyone disagrees with me, I won’t judge.

It could be that whenever he sees Monty he can only think of Bonnie. I mean, we know Freddy really misses Bonnie and Monty is his replacement so it makes sense. And since he can only see Monty as Bonnie’s replacement, that would make it harder for him to “care” about small details like specific claws on Monty, unlike with Chica and Roxy who have always been in his band (I assume since there’s no mention of Foxy ever having been in it). Though to be fair Freddy didn’t notice the eyes were Roxy’s until Gregory mentioned it… so maybe he isn’t as familiar with Roxy as he is with Chica. So it could be that Foxy used to be in the band, but it’s been very long since he left. Roxy then came as his replacement and Freddy has simply gotten used to her and made friends with her over time. He just hasn’t had that time with Monty yet. I’m also unsure whether or not Freddy knows Monty is the one who decommissioned Bonnie. If he knows then that pretty much explains everything.

Annoyingly the game doesn’t make it clear that he can turn on a reticle in the options menu, meaning you’d know exact when your shot is lined up between their eyes. Tho I’m also betting the game bugs out and even then it doesn’t work sometimes, kinda like the security bots grabbing you when you clearly weren’t close enough.
