William is not being fooled for that long. As Phone Guy says in one of the calls, the springlock suits are designed to turn and walk towards sounds they hear. In FNAF 2, Phone Guy mentions how the animatronics go to your office because they hear you and they think they are in the wrong room. Since the springlocks went off and "killed" William, the suit is in animatronic mode, meaning that William has no control where it goes, so it goes towards the sound of kids.

If you reboot all it takes like 8 seconds to do it,which gives springtrap more time to get you. It only takes 5 seconds to reboot one, so if you reboot audio first you can call him into the room you want him to be in and then get the ventilation, increasing your chances of survival. I did a test to see which is more beneficial, and I died much more when I rebooted all, because I could actually prevent him from reaching me rather than sitting there for 8 seconds unable to do anything about him trying to kill me if I only got the audio.

Apparently, there IS a strategy to doing it that way. If you reboot the audio, you can start leading Springtrap away from you, even without the cameras working, buying you time to fix the other errors that you might not otherwise have.

Random fun fact: Springlock suits are actually pretty resistant, and deaths barely ever happened even when it was commonly in use, I know the big funny is that Fazbear Entertainment gave death traps to their employees but while getting springlocked is basically death regardless, even that is possible to survive as William survived a springlock failure in the books (and yes I know the books aren't canon to the games, but as Scott said, what is possible in the books, is probably possible in the games too, even if the events themselves aren't exact) springlock suits are generally safe as long as you aren't doing backflips and trying to piss in it, the reason William's suit switched to animatronic mode when he turned into springtrap is because that suit was old and rusty, meaning the springlocks were way weaker, any well kept springlock suit would be very unlikely to snap unless the user trips and fully faceplants into a wall, or if someone dunks an entire bucket of water, and I know there's the warnings about breathing and all that but that's more of a pre-caution, generally, some breath won't instantly kill a person, and also, one thing is that if someone gets a springlock failure, the springlocks aren't ALL connected, the main reason William got a full springlock failure is that getting springlocked HURTS, meaning once a few springlocks get loose, users are likely to react by bumping into something or making sudden movements which would make every other springlock snap back into place, so it's not instantly stabbing all the springlocks back in, it's a chain reaction that slowly snaps them all in place, and of course death isn't instant meaning that is one HELL of a painful death.

GUIDE TO GOOD ENDING IN SIMPLEST FORM *Note: Do not ever use an exit unless you have already beaten the minigame before.* NIGHT 2: Step 1: Double click the Balloon Boy poster in *Cam 08*. It is close to the top left corner of the monitor. Collect the balloons. When you have 7, go to the highest platform touching the left wall and jump into the wall. Fall down, and then proceed right when you land. You should find a multicolored balloon eventually. Collect it, and you should automatically exit the game. Step 2: Go to the Arcade machine in Cam 07. On the left set of 4 buttons arranged in a ABXY fashion (If you have no idea what that means just randomly click buttons on the machine until you find a close set of 4 that flashes yellow when you click them), press the buttons in this order: Upper left, lower left, upper right, lower right. Collect parts of Mangle. Do not be caught by the fat kid. When you have collected all parts, go to the platform above the exit and jump into the right wall. Fall down, and proceed left when you land. Eventually you'll find a bunch of balloon platforms. Platform up and eventually you'll find a large tiered cake. Collect it, and the game should end. Step 3: Return to BB's minigame. This time, when you jump out of the wall you should land on a balloon platform. Proceed right on the balloons and you'll find a dead child. Present him a tiered cake. NIGHT 3: Collect 4 cupcakes in Cam 02, 03, 04, and 06. You should enter a minigame with Chica. The cupcakes and crying children can be ignored. Once you have reached the bottom, climb up the wall of the box you are currently outside of. (Left or right, I don't remember.) At the top, jump into the upper box where the stage is. You should clip through and into the room. Then, proceed to the right wall and climb it. Jump into the stage above again, and climb the left wall. Proceed to the right, and fall to the next screen to the right. You should find an empty room with a dead child. Approach him and he will be presented with a tiered cake. The game should end. You might wanna find a video guide of this one. Hell, I might have gave the wrong instructions. NIGHT 5: Step 1: At the right of the office, there is a Shadow Bonnie figurine on right edge of your desk. Click it, and you should become Shadow Bonnie on stage with Golden Freddy and (Springtrap?). Randomly press the down arrow key until you're in a stage where you can clip through the left wall. I recommend to stay floating in the top left corner and then change to BB's game. Then, when you're outside, spam the down button until you eventually find a stage that is a bunch of purple lines. You should be standing by a dead black child. He will be presented with a tiered cake and the game will end. Step 2: Go to Cam 03 and click on the poster of Puppet on the right wall. Proceed right until you find a meeting of dead children cosplaying as the animatronics. Put a tiered cake on the table and the children should move on. Step 3: ??? Step 4: Profit.

I KNEW IT!!! Years later the Murder of the children came back to finish what he started. He returned to the abandoned pizzeria to dismantle the animatronics, only to release the violent spirits of the children he killed. He then hid in inside the only suit he could find, The SpringTrap Bunny. What he didn't know was that was an old MALFUNCTIONING suit. He put it on, it glitches, he dies. Seems fitting? Well now this amusement park is using the relics of the old animatronics. I'd say it's safe to say the spirits of the children are still attached to these relics, but the "animatronic" they found is the most evil of them all. The Murder himself.

Hey Mark! To get to the good ending. You have to first go on night two and go to camera 8 and click on the picture of bb until you get transported into a mini-game with bb. There you must collect all the balloons on screen. Afterwards an exit exit will appear. Do not go into the exit but instead go to the left most platform and jump through the wall. You will start to fall and after you are done falling, keep going left until you see a room with a color alternating balloon and go into the room and collect it. The game will freeze and the night will reset. Now you must go to camera 7 and there is an a set of buttons on each side of the desk where the computer is. If you go to the left side where those buttons are and hit the upper left one, lower left one, upper right one, and lower right one, you will be transported to mangle's game. In mangles game collect all of mangle's parts and then go the the highest rightmost platform and jump through the wall. Then go left until you see some balloons that appeared because of bb's game and do some epic parkour to the top and you will see a cake. Touch the cake and the night will reset again. Go back to bb's game and do the same thing except this time when jumping out you will land on a balloon. Do some more parkour to get to the gray crying kid and a cake will appear in front of him if you did it right. Proceed to night 3. You will need to collect 4 weird puppet looking faces in the scenery. They are located in camera number 2, 3, 4, and 6. Now you're in Chica's mini-game. Now go one screen to the right and collect 1 cupcake. Go one screen down and go to the leftmost platform. Then jump up and keep going right. Then give the cupcake to the gray crying kid. Proceed to night 4. You will need to use the code from night 3's mini-game which is 3 9 5 2 4 8. The tiles next to the garbage can will act as a number pad with the top three tiles being 123 from left to right, the middle three being 456 from left to right, and the bottom three being 789 from left to right. Input the code. In golden Freddy's mini-game go to the right and the game will glitch you out of the wall to your left. fall to the bottom. Go two screens right. You will be able to climb the left most wall. Do that and jump to the left and go on top of that screen's room. stand a bit to the left of the pixel Springtrap and jump up onto another screen. Do it again and go to the top of that room. Then jump to the right and give the kid the cake. Proceed to night 5. There will be a shadow Bonnie plushy to the left of your drink on your desk. click on it and you will be transported to shadow Bonnie's mini-game. Keep pressing s until you are in bb's mini-game. Then jump out the wall in the leftmost wall and once near the bottom of the screen keep pressing s until you see the child. Finally, go to camera 3 and click the post of Marionette. Go to the right and you will see all the kids you saved. Give the cake to the last kid and you will have complete the process. I hope you find this helpful Markiplier/anyone else who read this! :D
