Nice catch. I've never railfanned Jefferson. I should as many times as I've ben up there.

Robert, this was my first time railfannig at that location. My goal was to catch a westbound KCS train. I spent about 6 hours there waiting on trains and was about to call it a day and head for home. Thankfully the Welsh Power Plant coal train showed up and I followed it. I saw only two trains at that location, one UP northbound train and the KCS coal train.

That was the horn from the lead locomotive on the westbound UP locomotive leading the coal train. There is a crossing just east of the location I was recording at.
