I really love those swipes. Those are always my favourite parts and they contrast well with the marble patterns and colour blocks. I agree with pouring off that big block though as it made it so much better. I was afraid the swipe was going to disappear with it so I'm glad it didn't.

Hmmm... might try this marble technique on my next piece. I typically use 8x8" canvases so wont have as much room to play with, but I get it'll still be fun to try. Love the colour pallet. It's calming with the blues yet vibrant with the gold and copper. Q. What do you do with all your art? I want to keep making more and more, but the walls and shelves at home are filling up so quickly. I gave everyone a piece for Christmas. Maybe I can donate some somewhere.

But I do art fairs throughout the year, have an Etsy page to try and sell some pieces and I also rent some wall space in a local cafe and they also sell my work so I do rotate and sell throughout the year.

Hi, I've watched several of your videos and I really love the way that you have developed your fluid painting. There are so many great designs. You have a very gentle style of presenting, too. Thanks. Please can you tell us how you mix your paints, are they mixed with Valspar Base C untinted paint and Jo Sonja gloss varnish or do you use US Floetrol and Liquitex pouring medium, or is another recipe, altogether?

Thank you so much! For the puddle pours like this one it’s just Owatrol/Floetrol and a dash of water to make it more fluid. 1:3 paint to pouring medium. Nothing on the base as it’s dry as there will be enough paint to help the flow. Thanks so much for your kind feedback xx
