Thanks Mark, great video full of great images, tips and stories from the day..one image made me chuckle, that of the Norwich players having a go at the ref, what a cheek after he has almost gifted them one of there goals..😂 Anyway have a great trip to Greece, if nothing else you should get some lovely clear skies and warm weather..

Funny to see our old head coach, Glen Riddersholm (to the right) at 10:50. He was head coach for Sønderjyske Fodbold a few years back in the danish Superleague. His nickname is "Guld Glenn" which translates to "Gold Glenn". Obviously he's won a few titles 😉 Great video as always.

Mark, great content as always. Questions: - from where did you take the pictures of the coaches in the beginning of your set? Have you been shooting from opposite of them at the middle line? - stock fotos: are photos without ball any usable or should I only send pictures of players with a ball for stock pictures? - do you always shoot the 70-200 at f2.8 or do you go for a lower aperture if there if example a corner kick and you want to get more players in focus?

I see you use exposure compensation on almost every image. What is your thought process on using that adjustment. BTW tonight I’m covering my first pro match in the US.

I use AUTO iso specifically so I can adjust the exposures for the changing light. This is obviously made much easier with the EVF👍🏻 How did your shoot go?

@@MarkKerton Interesting, thanks! I typically use auto ISO too but often my camera boosts quickly to 16000. Last night i took it off auto ISO, left if at 12800 raised exp comp +3, +7 to see how i liked the results. So far edits look decent. I got barked at by one of the staff photogs for creeping into his territory by the players bench. I guess if you're not getting yelled at, you're not trying hard enough! The shoot was a blast. Look forward to returning. Would love to show you some for critique. Very much appreciate your response!

RE the defibrillators.. there was a child who died here in Houston because of school cuts.. kid fainted. Teacher went to get defibulator and due to budget cuts.. it had been removed.

The great shot at 19:51, is the shape of the ball down to the electronic shutter of the mirrorless camera ( think I've heard you mention that when you switched over from dslr)

That is typically from an electronic shutter. My agency and also their customer (Reuters, Getty etc.) don’t mind. You can see it but it doesn’t bother you. Except all other snappers out there 😇

That’s because it was taken on an R5. No rolling shutter on an R3.

QQ, I take it, a lot of photographers are Part-Time and have other jobs which pays the bills. Are they registered as a personal Company for their photography work? Are they VAT registered? Can this be done while working at another Job
