Mark, that was first song I sung at church. I was 3 or 4 yrs old. I went to church with my grandma. And I stood up on the pew standing close beside her and sung The Old Ruggard Cross. I'm pushing 70 in couple months. Still my favorite of all songs. With sweet, sweet memories.

Mark has been a faithful servant. While going through Covid and quarantined He would come on live sometimes everyday. Singing the old Hymn. Sure helped those who needed to be reminded we have a Savior Jesus Christ who loves us. Lots of Singing, laughing and sometimes tears. Thanks Mark.

Mr. Lowry will never see this, and that’s ok. Without Mark Lowry live KZbin I would not have made it through the pandemic. When I would think “Lord I’m ready, can I get my ticket punched now?” Mark Lowry would pop up in my KZbin and I would sit with him (and hundreds of others) and sometimes I would sing along with him and sometimes I would just enjoy his singing or stories and my heart would get lighter, I felt better. But for the Lord and Mark Lowry, I can say without a doubt… I would have punched my own ticket and hope that I make it home with Jesus. This has been a tough year for us all. Thank you Jesus for Mr. Lowry

@@BlankScreensDentist I have dealt with a lot of times of depression in my life. I know how distorted our thinking can get and how little hope we can feel. Several things helped me: One, going to a Christian counselor and persevering until I found one that helped; Next, just doing something different than I had been doing, if I hadn’t been going out of the house, just walk around the block. If I hadn’t been getting dressed, just get dressed first thing. Just doing something proactive to stop being stuck in your hole. And also, reading a book that changed my life. It’s called Telling Yourself The Truth by William Backus and Marie Chapian. Another thing was having my pastor and the elders of my church anoint me with oil and pray for me. God totally delivered me instantly that time. It was like walking out of a fog bank into a clear sunny day. Finally, God showed me the next day that it was resentment over small things toward a loved one that took me down into that hole in the first place. I needed to learn to let things go and forgive and lower my expectations. I don’t know if any of this will be helpful to you, I hope so. I really feel for you and I know that you are loved and accepted by God today. He knows your struggles and He cares. And we never know what tomorrow may bring, it may be the day of our deliverance! There is always hope if we trust the Lord. Lean on the Everlasting Arms!
