bit of video duplication in there? - Confused me a bit

Mark, I was looking at the Applied Level. I thought if you purchased the bundle, you'd get new positions without the recurring fee if you purchased before Jan. 16, 2025. When I went to the website, the bundle shows that new positions are not included. Did I misunderstand? Thanks.

I normally love your informative videos, because they are rooted in logical analysis. I am genuinely confused how someone as intelligent as you can also have such an antiquated view of society. Bad leaders are bad leaders, regardless of identity. Did you also show no sympathy for the people of Texas in 2021 when their infrastructure- and subsequently their leaders- failed them? Point is, don’t point the finger at societal concepts when the issue is leadership- on both sides of the aisle and in many places in the US.

Do you think there is an Ai Bubble and do you think that the stock market is overvalued post trump rally?

Hi Mark, would you please explain interest rate parity and why a currency with a higher interest rate typically implies a lower forward exchange rate? However, in reality, countries with higher interest rates often have stronger currency values. How can these two concepts be reconciled?

think my comment didn't make through in last video. Mark, why do you think LEI and CEI have been so divorced from one another from 2022 onwards? The reduction in recession premium is largely responsible for the rise in yields from September-current (1.4% from reduction in recession premium, +0.76% term premia (of which +0.36% is an increase in 10Y inflation expectation), -1% interest rate = total +1.15%, which is exactly the rise in yields we have seen in 10Y from Sept-now and aligned with your logic in your outlook video), and that CEI has been so strong for a while supports that point. I find it puzzling how CEI has not shown signs of dropping once while LEI has been dropping for 2 years.

One problem that bitcoin solves: you can print out a piece of paper that has a wallet key on it and that piece of paper effectively carries the value of whatever is in that wallet. So you can transfer a huge a mount of money across borders very easily and outside of the system. Compare with gold with the cost of taking delivery of large quantities of gold and the cost of securing it. Not saying bitcoin makes gold obsolete, but this is a unique property of bitcoin.

Many people from all walks of life in every tax bracket have lost their homes. LA is more than Hollywood. I know this as a fact, and I live in the Midwest, so it's not far fectched that a Canadian can grasp this concept, too. Have some compassion. Other than that, love the videos.

Except that neighborhood is one of the richest in the whole US… so no, it wasn’t people from every income that lost their homes. It’s in a very specific area, Pacific Palisades and the area impacted is people and in the top ten percent in single and household income.

also implying that the firefighters were inferior because of diversity is dead wrong lmao, california fiirefighters go through fire season every year. they're very well trained and have a lot of experience. the reason its so bad is because of the strong wind. The lack of compassion was palpable, yikes.

Do you think you are too strongly opinionated against Trump ? A lot of your biases are based on your strong opinions. How do you hedge that ? I may have the same strong opinions but I’d want to hedge it in case if I’m wrong.

??? He doesn't sound opinioned against Trump at all. I'm opinioned against Trump and he sounds fairly neutral to even positive/giving Trump the benefit of the doubt on a lot of things. I think he does a good job with his assessment of Trump

So common among these guys. Think that are holier than though or some shit. Can’t stand it
@MarkMeldrum20 сағат бұрын
I can settle all this quickly. I am not opinionated AGAINST Trump, I have an opinion ABOUT Trump. 2 different things.
@shahezadvirani20 сағат бұрын
@@MarkMeldrum well said. But even then, if you have an opinion that is against something, how do you hedge it ? For example, we bet in favor of the opinion that he does not want to govern but rule. But if in case I am wrong, shouldn’t I be open to hedge this bet ? I’m trying to learn if we hedge our opinions or not ? Or once we form an opinion, we go along with that ? How as an investor am I supposed to manage my biases is all I’m asking for.

Question in regards to the 10 year note yield as it is increasing, what are you thoughts if it were to increase 3.76% to the up side or 2.5% to the down side does that signal inflation when going to upside and recession when going to the down side? what are you suggestions when monitoring the DXY and 10 Year yield in order to use it as a bench mark whether it will have a positive or negative effect on the equities market? also do you think that the DXY will roll over or are going to the upside? appreciate your insight Dr.Mark !
