That’s what I noticed too. I’d understand if it was a slip of the tongue once after they broke up. I’ve done that accidentally right after I and my gf broke up. But I immediately corrected myself and called her my ex since then. But the way he keeps saying ‘my girlfriend’ constantly makes him seem overly possessive and kinda creepy…

You know, the funny thing…I get the feeling that if he had merely walked away calmly after being told that they did not accept the apology (especially considering the uncle whispering something into the dad’s ear, and the dad laughing about it) I would put money on them stopping him and saying, ‘it was just a prank’ as a way to teach him a lesson…just an observation…

100%, the original bigfoot prank was nothing to be all that mad about! It was actually kind of funny! I thought from the title this was going to be like when that guy faked a gruesome death scene in his bathtub to scare his girlfriend, but nah, that was good wholesome fun. 100% they were setting him up to get pranked back and instead of reacting sanely he went completely nuts.

What if the ex's dad hadn't seen the little cousin, just seen OP? If he went at OP for being near his home after being told not to, with OP's temper, the cousin could have gotten hurt or lost in a scuffle. Sadly the first story sounds true. A best friend of mine dated a man similar to this during college. He'd do outrageous prianks and expect her to just shake it off. In the beginning she did because she thought that she loved him. I advised him not to prank me because I have a cardiac condition which acts up when I'm scared. Anyway, we're at a party and my friend is going to drive us to the store for more liquor. Her boyfriend hears this and runs to hide in the backseat of the car. He's going to jump up and scare us. I got into the car alone because she forgot her purse. He must have moved or something, so I knew someone was in the backseat of the car. I scream bloody murder. I can barely breath and my heart is racing, I'm terrified for my life. I use the mace in my purse to get him in the face, so I can run out of the car. I screamed so loud some people in the neighborhood came out of their houses, one said they were calling the police. In the meantime my friend comes out, I'm shaking, crying and feel like I'm going to have a heart attack. She then sees her boyfriend cursing and getting out of the car really angry. She screaming at him leave me alone and trying to calm me down. My friend was very concerned about me so she calls 911. I'm in the process of calming down and using the techniques I know to bring my heart beat down. But he ambulance takes me to the hospital as a precaution and my friend comes with me. Apparently, the police eventually come and give him a warning. My best friend broke up with him immediately afterwards. He was saying that he didn't know that I was being serious about my heart condition. She said it wouldn't have mattered who was in the car. Scaring young women in a car afterdark is a big No-No. He's lucky all that happened was being sprayed with mace.

Dude this is why I hate pranksters. and I'm starting to feel like it's only guys/men who are capable of these types of pranks. I'm not saying there aren't any female pranksters, but from all of the prank stories I've heard and the extreme consequences as a result, all of them were pulled by a bunch of 20-30 year old guys who act like they're 10. As a guy myself, I'm very sorry you had to go through this. This is some serious crap, and it would still be bad even if you didn't have that heart condition. In fact, you even warned the guy and he still didn't listen. Such an inconsiderate butthole. I hope you're okay!

@@IvanScriptsEverythingmy grandpa was a bit of a prankster, but the most he did was rubber snakes in drawers, licking coprolite, gluing a rubber cockroach to the bottom of *his* coffee mug, making Brian teaser puzzles with trick solutions, and putting a mannequin in a bathroom. You know, things everyone could laugh at after (though the mannequin one did get him chased out of the school by a cleaning lady with a broom), and he didn’t do it constantly. Honestly, before the details of the prank were laid out I thought to myself "you know what would be fun, if you faked a bigfoot sighting." Then the plan was revealed. My opinion, it wasn't that OP dressed up as bigfoot, it was because he staged a bigfoot attack. Throwing chairs, chasing cousins, growling, what part of that is fun? Also I imagine there is a long history of AH behavior since exgirlfriend says given too many chances.

Also, he spend the day leading up to his “prank” stalking the family from the shadows. Purposefully staying out of sight. Then waiting until it was dark to charge into the camp, roaring, and throwing their stuff around (more than likely damaging it). He was either very lucky, or just smart enough made sure to wait until after he saw them put away their guns, to avoid being shot right away. A funny Bigfoot prank could have been jumping out with a roar, but immediately pulling off the mask to reveal it was just him. But that could just as easily be not funny at all. Or as another commenter on this video said, waiting for them at the camp during the daytime lounging in the chair looking like a Bigfoot on it’s own camping trip. Which would be funny, but not scary. Imagine you come back from hiking to find Bigfoot chilling in a chair by your fire pit & he’s drinking a beer or soda. Then he turns to you and lifts the drink up and says “s’up”. After a minute Bigfoot takes off his masks to reveal your friend.

This guy makes me uncomfortable just listening to him whine about how "unfairly" he's being treated after he was a dick to people around him. I really hope he stays single until he does a LOT of growth and maturing. Story 2: I'm personally going to go with NAH slightly leaning to YTA. Because on one hand, it'd be almost impossible to fly home same day from another country and was an unreasonable ask from the daughter. On another hand, OP had 6 months at the very lest to reschedule the trips for at least a month or 2 after the daughter's due date. They chose to cut it close with the trip, and you cannot convince me it'd be hard to reschedule a trip if you're still 6 months away from it. The daughter had a pretty traumatic birthing and wanted her parents there. IT's understandable why she's angry and hurt, regardless of how unreasonable it sounds. OP just needs to take the L, honestly apologize and give their daughter some space.

Everybody stop giving this guy advice, let him hit the bottom of the well hard. Some people just need to fail and fail and fail harder until they have nothing left to blame but themselves. This man is really a lost cause, and I'm a very naive individual but good grief!

Lol, from the updates, I don't think he was even looking for advice. He just goes with whatever floats into his empty head.

My advice to him is to wait until the dad is target shooting with his gun, then don the gorilla suit and prank him. While he's holding a loaded gun at OP's head level.

Besides, he’s not looking for advice; he’s looking for someone to tell him that he’s not the crazy one and his plans are total gold!

I have to say, when I was in ungodly and horrific pain and needed emergency surgery, I wanted my mom (a retired registered nurse who is amazing at staying calm) even though I’m old-well into middle age! We FaceTimed her from my hospital bed and kept her on for quite a while while the doctors were trying to figure out what was going on, and my husband kept her updated after I was finally put under. In this day and age, it isn’t hard to stay connected with modern technology without insisting someone catch a last minute flight. The daughter was being unreasonable and the parents didn’t seem to try too hard to give her some kind of support.
