He has not ''gone forever'', but just ''returned to forever''. We continue living our lives with his masterpieces, so his true death will never come until the day of extinction of usーeveryone who knows and loves him. This is NOT the long good-bye to Chick Corea. R.I.P. the Legend.

Anybody notice that Gambale starts taking a solo at 5:30 when he's not supposed to? He starts soloing, and then Chick Corea plays the melody over him, and Gambale and Patitucci look up at 5:36. At 5:50, Gambale and Patitucci are laughing about it, and Marienthal gives Gambale the ol' eyebrow raise at 5:57. I never noticed it the first time around. Funny stuff! Even the masters can make mistakes!

Sax player kills it! Bass player shines! Drummer syncopation and chops - wow! I have always respected how Chick allowed his individual band players to grow and expand their talents - letting them take the center stage from time to time. Its the characteristic of a mature player and TEAM player. Additionally, it takes so much pressure off of Chick to have to lead every night. While Chick is gone, his contributions to music lives on!
