27:18 Japan was a very newly industrialized and modernized country unsure of it's place in the world and how to operate or even think in the new ways so foreign to it. Germany was the exact opposite basically. Think of it like this, the US-Japanese relationship was a lot more like an Adult-Child relationship whereas the developed western worlds relation to Germany was more like Adult-Adult. Japan was able to move forward and change (something it was used to doing over the past 100 years very rapidly already) much more easily.

The reason Japan and the USA got along so quickly after the war is because after the nukes Japan was occupied by the USA and then reinstated as a Democracy after which the USA sent Japan billions of dollars to recover from the war and build modern cities to replace the pre-war wooden ones. They did the same to South Korea which is why the two nations are so developed nowadays and had their, as he puts it, "economic miracle"
@chbuki3 жыл бұрын
It has less to do with the reconstruction and more to do with the long standing security alliance. Japan relies/relied on the US for it's defense going back to the 1950s, and thanks to this relationship, Japanese leaders have consistently tried to be on good terms with the US. Due to the strong relationship, and American soft power, the Japanese are probably the most likely to be America-friendly people in the world.

Well bruh theres a channel names history matters in which it quite simply explains why is this on and its obviously not becouse if nuke terror mainly but becouse of the common communism block enemy
@No_Anime_No_Life. Жыл бұрын
nope this is because Japan is anti-Communism side, while US in FDR era is very pro-Communism, this is the resulting the hate between Japan and US. this getting much worst when Japan chose to killed alot a Soviet Red Army in Mongolia battles that causing Stalin get jumpscared and asking help to FDR do something about Japan, then we got US embargo oil against Japan, and Japan replying US with bombing on US navy and military bases in Pearl Harbor, then boom!.... Pacific war happened after WW2 where this is absolutely the Communism victory by taking half of Germany, China taking by CCP, and Japan almost fall to Maoist Socialist thanks to stupid rules of US democracy. US and some Allied countries is finally realized they where stupid af and regret it for supporting Soviet Union and China in WW2, that why US supporting Japan to rebuild own country, give millions US dollar to right-wing party LDP, and give big profits to Japan if the Japanese industries and military want selling their weapons and logistics to US and UN for military aids in Cold war (mostly Japan military aids is sending to Korea war and Vietnam war) maybe the US actions in Cold war is what making most Japanese is pro-US, but of course some Japanese still criticizing US for being pro-Communism and mass killing the civilian in every Japan cities in WW2, then GHQ US is ruining the Japanese Imperial family systems (kick ass all Imperial royal families for no reason because US democrats doesn't like it), and political government system is where being tough Imperial to become weak knee democracy today US embassy trying forcing Japan to accepting LGBT laws that just making all Japanese women and children in danger from the threat of LGBT pedo movements, of course more and more Japanese hating US now at this rate, in future Japan will finally get independent from US to wipe out all US democracy, US policies, and US LGBT pedo stuffs and i cannot wait for this lmao

PC gaming was never big in Japan so their part in the e-sports scene as far as I've seen is mostly in the fighting game community, considering tons of fighting games are developed there. Not a lot of Japanese DotA, Counter-Strike, or StarCraft players, unfortunately. Outside of that, they're gaming scene in general is mostly centered around arcade and console games.
