Nice job sheeting those wings. I agree that making the wing tips from balsa would look much better and also be more durable.

Another good tip about sheeting around undercarriage legs, hope other builders see your video first. Wonder if the manufacturer watches these videos and considers changing his instructions.

Alan Barnstable Thanks for the comments Alan, it's appreciated 😀

On some wings it's best to glue together the sheets before applying to the wings which ensures that the join line remains flat (but depends on curvature of wing and number of sheets).

Hi Mark, would just like to say I have watched all the vids on this build and found them brill. You are a very good builder, your work is so neat and tidy. Look forward to the next episodes. Will you be doing another build after this? I have subbed by the way.

Mark, can I ask? when you sheeted the wings ,what did you do at the TE , did the top and bottom sheet touch each other at the very rear so you have a full sheet thickness top and bottom OR did you chamfer. I am a new builder so have no knowledge, thanks

gary murphy Regarding the TE on the wing, the first side of sheeting i did too long, intentionality, then on the second side I did the sheeting just down far enough so it met the first. I then trimmed the first overhanging sheeting to meet the second and sanded. Hope that makes sense! Good luck with your building 😁
