Hey guys, I thought I mentioned it in the video but after rewatching it, it turns out I didn’t, so the clips in the background are kinda an amalgamation of 8th gen’s and 9th gen’s. The honest reason? It’s hard to tell the difference to me and when I searched up “8th gen accord in 4k” these were the vids that popped up. I’m sorry to anyone who was offended in anyway but tbh w you, if you were offended by a video using the wrong footage of a car, you probably need to get outside a bit more. Either way I hope you guys enjoyed, and pls remember I am one guy making vids on tons of different cars, I am bound to make mistakes

dont these cost like 3000€ also... pretty sure 2.0 is more sensible to get than 2.4 ... K20 is way more cheaper to build up, than K24 the difference is only 400cc so if ur planning to tune the car, turbo and all that jazz... i would def go for 2.0 , not 2.4 id buy accord 2.0T anyways haha... when i watch accord videos from american youtubers, the cars look different, than european accords, or are they all with custom bodykits i assume ?

8th gen coupe 2008-2012 and post 2010 was actually the 8.5 gen, 2011-2012. My favorite is the 8.5 gen v6 or 9.5 gen 2016-2017 touring. My project car is a 2011 EX-L coupe, it was also my first car so I ain’t ever getting rid of her. I Want to 3rd generation Coyote swap the car. Basically a mustang in an accord coupe body!!! Also convert it to RWD. These cars have my favorite body, I can’t stand 4 doors but I like the practicality of them. The Accord coupe is actually close to the biggest 2 door body shell you will find. I did car interior and exterior and practically deep dive comparing accords vs almost any other coupe out there and it’s one of the biggest and most practical in terms of actual useful back seats and leg room, head room, shoulder room, etc. Also the luggage space is great, I personally drove from Texas up to Canada no problem with my dad and a tone of luggage lmao. Had no problem room wise. V8 coming baby don’t worry she’ll be the basest girl on the road again!!!

V8? Engine swap your Accord? Eh, IDK, to each their own. Cool to see other people doing their own thing to these cars tho. I just dont like the idea of giving up the reliability of the j-series engine. But I'm going for sort of a I guess restomod setup, I'm pretty much replacing every part possible on the car, unless its still in perfect shape. All the interior trim/panels/leather steering wheel/gaskets/leather all replaced with brand new OEM parts. About 6 grand just for that. And also all the exterior trim/rubber/gaskets, all of it. The chrome window trim alone was about 2 grand. But it has rubber gaskets and they have degraded after 15 years, and I want it to look like new. And I'm replacing every possible part in the suspension/wheel/brake system. Everything. With OEM parts. Already got coilovers tho. And then I'm getting modified cams installed. After a repaint, it will look and feel like a new car pretty much, well, it will be like how it should've been from the factory. I'm not trying to make it look much different than stock.. just want it looking brand new & faster. V6 '09 coupe w/ navi & all the extras.

I’m a huge Honda fan and have owned many. I got my EX L K coupe from my mom who was the 1st owner with around 190k on it., so I know it was very well taken care of. The only other issue other than slight chatter from the VTC as mentioned, is my headliner is starting to sag, and I have a couple of ball joints and control arms that could be replaced. Otherwise at like 220k the car is (mostly stock) and I have zero issues. I’m a little over 6ft and it’s still plenty of room for me. I can also fit me, my lady, and our kid in the back seat and still be comfortable. It still has the OEM stereo and it works just fine for me. I know the AC was mentioned, I have tan leather interior and I’ve never had much of a problem with AC not keeping up. There’s a lot of things I’d like to do to it (coils, wheels etc) but if it’s not broke don’t fix it lol.

It has 237k miles but it’s been garaged and well maintained the front end is good and tight and after market wheels on it. So aside the headliner and the driver side sun shade…I’m very pleased. I hope to drive this for a long time as I love having the power driving in city traffic on and off the interstate…yeah for sure

I have an 8th gen 3.5l V6 Accord as a daily. Here in the Philippines having one of these is quite a luxury. I can't deny, out of all the vehicles I owned and currently own, this car is the best in my opinion. The comfort is unmatched, the power is there when I need it, (heck I don't even feel like I'm going really fast even if I'm driving beyond local speed limits here) and the reliability is way up the roof, even for a Toyota IMO. I'm not sure if I'll actually let go of this car, ever.

When I got my 8th gen accord it was burning 1 quart per 400 miles ..... Yeah that kinda shocked me, didn't know about it prior, but it had 200k miles. In the two years I've driven it I've always aggressively flushed the motor during an oil change (yes I know not great) but its down to a quart in 1200 miles now which is far more acceptable coming from where it was. Still working on it, but it appears the previous owner drove the car 8k-10k miles per oil change. Found a oil change receipt with a comment the car was 3.5 quarts low on oil .... That was 15k miles before I bought it. Car was pretty neglected needed a good bit of maintance, however I got the car for dirt cheap and overall its been very reliable however fuel economy sucks. I average 22mpg mostly highway with the 4 cylinder, I drive like a grandmother. Best fuel economy I ever got was 27mpg during a long cross country trip which was all highway.

I own an 8th gen nice vid. I believe that the k series in that car isn’t the holy grail of k series ive heard people say they are not as tunable as the others. If you’re a speedy mf get the v6 because they still have decent potential. Intake manifolds, j-pipes, intakes, throttle body’s this car has more potential and even for the super fast bois there’s a turbo kit for the j35. The suspension is a perfect balance of sportiness and comfort so I agree with you that this is meant to be a fun daily driver and not a dedicated sports car. My coupe does have some body roll and understeer exists too. The v6 really does pull though and it’s pretty grunty that’s how I’d describe it. V6 + manuals these days are gonna be a few more bucks unless you don’t mind high mileage. I’d only get the v6 and I do recommend them. Just make sure the timing belts been replaced before you buy one. Great vid mark and thank you for reading my yapping spree

@@corruptedfileski my bad I didn’t mean to throw shade at the 2.4. It is one of the greatest cars in history for reliability, and sure you can tune them but to keep up with a stock j series you’ll need to throw more money at it. I’d just pick the v6 cause you get more power out of the gate with room for more. The 2.4 is goated
