These are so helpful! I'm still semi-new to Shadowrun so this is teaching me some things!

I'm just getting into SR5 so this cleared up a few questions I had on the matrix. I'm building a Technomancer right now and trying to understand all they can do. Can you go over how the decker and techno access and use the matrix and how they differ in a little more detail. It would be nice to have a visual reference on top of reading the source rules.

I dunno if you've got your video ideas for this section set in stone, but I'd love to see some more information/examples about practical uses of hacking, both for devices and hosts (such as bricking a gun or cybereyes in combat, or hacking a host to steal a file, dealing with patrol ICE, etc). Love these videos, keep up the good work

*Raises hand with a question* Is Puppeteering a third way to set a mark besides Brute Force and Hack on the Fly? The Resonance Action called Puppeteer is used to coerce a device into perform a Matrix Action, and Invite a Mark is listed as a Simple Action in the list of Matrix Action. On the surface, it would seem that a technomancer could use Puppeteer to Invite a Mark to herself with only a single success. However, Invite a Mark has its own prerequesite of ownership which I think means having three marks. This already came up in my group's game once. I could see a GM ruling that the marks must be in place first before using Puppeteering in this way (so it wouldn't work) or ruling that this is why the Puppeteering Complex Action exists (so it would work). I appreciate any insight, because I am still struggling with understanding how many marks are required to perform various tasks.

+Scott Gastineau I don't see anything in the rules that tells me this is not allowed. It seems that, by RAW, you should be able to use Puppeteer to get someone to invite you to put marks on them. However, I still would not really say that this is a "third way to get marks illegally", b/c really it's just a way to force someone to invite marks. The principle method of getting marks is still by invite, it's just that you've done something shady to get the invite.

+William Robertson I like that, how to brick weapons in combat. All GMs should be doing this a lot. A recommendation I have is Small Unit Tactics. It's such an underrated knowledge skill.
