My mum gets me this every year as an M&S stan and they always features loads of hair care. I don’t mind shampoo and conditioner but all these leave in or pre shampoo products are not really my thing. Also…red nail varnish …every year I’ve got quite the collection at this point 😂

Thanks for the unboxing. I think it’s a good calendar, although in my opinion they could of given bigger sizes of the M&S own brand stuff, if we’d had a bigger day cream, night cream and perfume it would of been way better. Plus a bigger size Clinique cleanser. also another make up item would of been nice. But I do like the selection overall, I think I’d use most items. I do love that you get the vanity case, more calendars should do this type of thing as a keepsake for once you’ve used all of your items.

Could you do the Laneige advent calendar? Would love to see what's in there, but all the influencers are only showing two doors so as "not to ruin the surprise". Makes me think it might not be worth the money, but I'm so curious!

The influencers should be showing more than two doors! It’s all “gifted” to them not paid for by them so it’s up to them to push sales ( that’s my understanding anyway) they aren’t going to do that by only showing 2 products

I totally agree. It almost feels like the company gave an order to show only the 2 most expensive doors, but not the rest, either because it's all minis and not good value for money, or the opposite (less likely), that it's all full sized products, and they don't want to sell out too fast. Either way, it's annoying that they flaunt the calendar but refuse to show what's inside.

I googled it and it seems to contain 12 products, 6 of them lip masks or balms and 6 skincare products (and 6 full size and 6 minis)

I'd love to but when I've looked I could only see it in the US... I can't spot it on their website, just Sephora US which doesn't ship to the UK and it's not on the UK site 😢 Fingers crossed they launch it somewhere else too so I can order it xo

I'll definitely be picking this one up when I'm over in the UK next year. I love M&S's undies and bras. Their PJ sets are lovely too. Super cozy! I'd be able to meet the min spend easily, so all covered there, then, the rest is an absolute steal. Their calendars are fab every year, so I imagine next year will be no exception. TFS Karen 😊

Better than i thought it would be. Heavy on hair care, wasted on me i have very short hair. The m&s perfumes in this range are, i believe, all dupes. Think one is M Jacobs daisy, chanel coco mad, and about two more, very good.

It just occurred to me that I actually don't normally purchase shampoo and conditioner duos. I normally see shampoo as a cleanser and conditioner as a treatment or moisturizer. I will normally buy the same brand but not matching products. Idk why. But that just occurred to me 😂

If it says vegetarian and not vegan, be careful since you have a milk allergy. Just in case it uses dairy and that is why not vegan. (There are obviously others things that would make it that way too, but just in case!)

Yay! Glad yours has arrived :) I explained at the start that you have to spend £35 to get it for £50, the £85 is the total spend. So for me to get this calendar I either had to spend £300+ which is the full value of the calendar, or £85 which was the calendar at £50 ad £35 of other items.

Not impressed with this year's. A few years ago Christmas Day was a full sized diamanté tub of Prai neck and decolletage cream so having a mascara this year is a bit of a disappointment 😞
