@ I have some still working and leak free that have to be pushing 18yrs old lol. Sure I’ve bent a few shafts but only from stupid high jumps or wall impacts where any would bend. The old shock caps popping off was also easily fixed by reinforcing the caps with pull ties. Sure aesthetically they aren’t so pleasing anymore that we are spoiled with dozens of different colors and materials. But they aren’t that bad lol.

Old Bigfoot all the way! The new body only seems to fix that weird gap between the body and chassis, but also did some amateur looking cutouts of the wheel arches to make it work.

Im a big traxxas fan as well as others.. and have a pretty big list of cars. I have the mini maxx pre ordered.. just got the jato when that came out .. etc.. etc.. the only issue with the bl2s line in my opinion is the price.. if they dropped the price a bit.. there wouldnt be as many complaints about what it does and doesnt have.. these should really be $249.99 or something in that area.. awesome truck though.. and great video Mark.

Let me brag a little for a second! Back in the 70s my brother was good friends with a kid who's dad worked at Midwest 4x4 and brought the original Bigfoot home from work one day and i got to ride in it! That's back when it had very large Tractor style rims on it.

Training mode is 50% throttle, full brake, 50% reverse. Sport mode is 100% forward, reverse, and full brakes.

This is an awesome looking truck and pays omage to BIGFOOT 8. The truck that revolutionized the modern trucks. With its unique suspension and ended up getting banned from competition. Only thing I wish Traxxas would do is come out with their own true solid axel monster truck..

I’ll stick to the real deal Bigfoot 1/1’s. Way back in the day drove the local streets worked in driveway and his garage even showed up at local baseball field dropping off little leaguers for their baseball game. Yep home town of Bigfoot lived down the rd from me in same neighborhood.

This looks terrible. The first one looked better and that’s not saying much because the REAL Bigfoot had solid axles, these Traxxas garbage versions are just stupid. Why they didn’t do a solid axle version instead of these Walmart Bigfoot nonsense they put out I’ll never understand. There are plenty of RC companies that put out solid axle monster trucks. Traxxas could have just made a front and rear solid axle one and it would have been somewhat scale to the real one. Instead they put out this hot nonsense which really is just an off road truck with big wheels on and that’s it? This is no “Bigfoot”. Not even the first Traxxas “Bigfoot” was a scaled down “Bigfoot” but it looked better than this hot mess. still love the video brother. 🤷🏻‍♂️💯👍

As a guy with over 150 Traxxas products, I'm getting tired of them rehashing the same old chassis and getting a very weak brushless drivetrain and calling it new. Radios are becoming one of the weaker links. They are getting passed in many ways. The name will only get you so far.

I'll stick with my model 90376-4 new Stampede that replaced the Hoss and has all the heavy duty parts , four wheel drive , Velinion motor , geared up does seventy miles per hour and has the same clipless body as the x-max . This is not the same four wheel drive as the old four wheel drive Stampede but they are still selling the old style that stands so tall
