When I go camping I bring a Traxxas summit no one ever talks about the summit but you can literally put the Ford F-150 body on it with all the lights and it's just amazing

The Summit is the ultimate camping RC as it can do it all. It bashes and runs decently on a track with a holeshot tire and wheel combo. It can do some crawling and trail running. It also is a great mud flinger. Can't go wrong with a Summit when it goes camping. It's what we bring. The locking diffs and the low and high-range transmission really make it fun camping. It's like a high-speed crawler.

I'm a 4X4 short course truck fan boy. 4X4 SCT is the best all around universal RC. It does almost everything. I think the Rally Car would be a cool camping RC. Looks like you could have a lot of fun with that. Have fun camping with the Fam. After all, that is the most important part of it.

Honestly, it depends on the terrain where you'll be camping. If you have enough driveable terrain for the rally, I would go with that! Maybe take some ramps too

I take my mini e-revo to Lake George NY when we go camping. Works great on the trails and easy to put into a backpack. They are small enough you can bring 2 and race against your sons.

Four-wheel drive/with metal axles with 2.2 wheels and tires and if you get regular single lights to mount on the roof get it extra front bumper for the slash cut the skid plate off of it we've just the pipes in the front bumper each in where the headlight assembly is set in a little bit and then screw it to the roof your truck and that will protect your lights if you roll over

I will say I do buy Traxxas and Arrma. I’ve tried some other stuff but have been disappointed by quality or assembly issues. Up here 🇨🇦 Traxxas is probably the best supported also with parts and upgrades in any store, so that makes things easier also. Shipping and customs from the USA is not budget friendly sometimes. Amain is a great store though for us Canadians!

I used to run gas RC’s back in the day. My fav was the T-Maxx. My buddy reintroduced me to RC cars again specifically electric and I got back into the hobby. Love basher trucks and crawlers. Traxxas is just a bit out of my price range. I currently own a few ARRMA trucks and a Redcat Gen 8. I like your videos btw!

My favorite car right now is my Bandit- we drive mostly on road and the Bandit is crazy fast, super fun to drive! The 4x4 Rustler and Slash are great also... no way to go wrong :)

I find the 1/16 scale a great camping car. I have the 1/16 E- Revo and it's so awesome. It keeps up with the 1/10 E- Revo in every way. My wife says the 1/10 scale take up way too much room in our vehicle. My fist experience with the Slash was camping. They had several different sizes and styles. I got so excited! I started out with the Dromida Truggies and still have both of them. I took them EVERYWHERE . RC is way fun!!! I finally subscribed to your channel. Good content.

I'm a sucker for the Rustler 4x4, my only complaint is getting the body back on, drives me crazy. I definitely wouldn't take a new nitro, depending on the location, break in could be a disaster on certain terrain. Can't wait to see what you got. Safe travels!

I added spacers under the front of the body skeleton and trimmed some of the body on the front and the sides and another suggestion is to get a slash bumper.

I use to have over 50 RC cars … now I have 10 Arrmas 6s/8s line up every car has at least a grand in it.. and I’m unstoppable in drag track bashing u name it… you can only play with so many at once .. I give them too kids that come out and say I wish I had one best feeling in the world ..❤ good content keep up the great work…

My local hobby shop since '86 went out of business because of Traxxas. The owner basically had two choices: 1) Carry more Traxxas products because Traxxas told him to meet certain quota, or 2) Don't carry any Traxxas products at all. Traxxas had previously screwed up one of the owner's buddy and shut down his buddy's small business. The owner swears to never deal with Traxxas again, so he chose option 2. When Hobbico and HPI went under due to Traxxas lawsuits, he went out of business as well. Hobbico was in financial trouble before the Traxxas lawsuit, and the lawsuit put the final nail in the coffin. I understand where you're coming from, Traxxas is just right next door to you and you had to drive Traxxas. I personally will never support this company.

The Summit. Perfect camping car. Its a "crawler," its decently fast in second, its bashable. it doesnt care about larger obstacles. The only downside is it takes 2 batteries but thats not a bad downside. It also has built in lights for a night hike. It is the perfect camping truck.

I need a TRX4M in my life!❤ Just picked up that rally two weeks ago already have a ton of upgrades on I got a hobbywing combo 140 amp ESC 3665 2400 KV. Still not super share on pinion and spur, I've asked on several forms but have not got a response from anyone. I do have the complete diff just haven't put it in yet going to do it when I install ESC and motor.
