You had made a comment about building = boring and that made me think; what would you recommend as a fun build kit for someone wanting to build a new RC? Haven’t built one sense the mid 90’s, AE RC10-T, RC10-GT and RC-10 DS, (all of which I still have) but not sure I wanna stick with AE. I might race it, combo of dirt and carpet tracks nearby, I really want to do an on road car or dragster.

Pity Traxxas don't look after their UK customers. I have had a TRX4 F150 High Trail on order for 8 weeks. Just because I support a small independent (and incredibly knowledgeable) retailer, rather than an internet warehouse, Traxxas are refusing to get the order through. Short sighted and downright rude to a customer that has bought 8 Traxxas models in 4 years. Never, ever again.

I don't know about upgrades, but Traxxas has some of the lowest prices on replacement parts of any brand. Arrma bodies are usually at least $10 more and Losi prices are outrageous.

While I agree about liking the new stuff, I am temporarily putting future Traxxas purchases (except replacement parts) on hold...at least, until such time as they stop bullying 3rd-party manufacturers, and smaller B&M hobby shops. EDIT: Horizon Hobby is just as big (actually, bigger) them Traxxas...yet, yet they don't bother about wasting time, or money, bullying 3rd-party manufacturers, or smaller B&Ms. They are quite happy having any retailers selling their products...and, in regards to those 3rd-party manufacturers, they know that their parts only help boost sales of HH-owned brand products. If I want a new vehicle, and have a choice between a Traxxas vehicle but only Traxxas upgrade parts, and a vehicle from another company (such as Axial) with upgrades available from anyone I want, the Traxxas vehicle is the one I wouldn't be getting.
