Thank you Mark!!! I've been out of the RC hobby for 20 years. Decided to buy a mini e Revo off Amazon. Was waiting for me when I got home from camping. First problem was stupid. I forgot to turn the controller on 🤣🤦‍♂️. 2nd, I'm old and of course the NiMH packs are dead. Sticker attached to the ESC said lipo cutoff was disabled. It was not. Thank you for helping this aging old geezer out!! Got brushless coming for me and a losi mini t 2.0 This one I bought for my nephew. He's only 6. No idea how fast this thing is. I don't have a car so I can't charge the packs. Bummer 😕 and the hobby store here is "closed for the summer".... Bunch of bs imo but whatever. Lol Anyway thanks again bro. Hope you're doing well!

Also when the tires shake like that, I’ve found massaging the foam in the low and high spots around the tires will help balance it out. Nice vid bro.

OMG man You are like a lifesaver that help me out I was using a Lipo battery with the speed control and I put the NIMH Battery and it was only steering but not accelerating this made it work thank you so much.

Hey question? I have one of those Amazon Soyee blue 1:10 trucks, when I turn the remote on, then try to turn truck on it blinks and shuts off. Remote stays on but truck shuts off with blinking light. Even tried holding button down on truck stays on but dies. Batteries fully charged as well.

Hey Mark! I ran into this about a month ago with one of my used Slash 2wds I picked up running fine and then went to run it and the light show first red then tried it then switched to green nothing just flashing? Just by chance I took the motor leads apart at the connections and put them to the battery direct and nothing happened! Bad motor! Great tips and videos and content!🤔😉👍

I do have a question don’t know if you will respond but I got. A new battery for Christmas and I tryed a lip battery a long time and it wouldn’t work so I got a new one and it ran but then I used my old charge and it barely started flashing red light on the charger well I was charging it and then I tryed to use it and it ran and then turned red and mad the motor stall and make it go very slow

Great video, that was my exact problem yesterday, wheels would turn left and right, but no throttle forward or back. ESC was flashing and I had no idea what the issue was, I had it accidentally set in Lipo mode while using NimH battery.

I have a jada RC truck and I think the battery speed working. When I charge the car the green light flashes and then goes steady. However when I switch it on the green light goes on and immediately off when I switch it on... is my assumption correct regarding the defective battery?

I am having trouble connecting the speed controller to the radio on my brothers rc. Ive done mine rc and it was the same way you showed it for the NiMH but with my brothers rc when i try to hold the ez button green then red i let go it blinks once and i pull full throttle but it doesn't blink twice

I purchased a used rustler with full xl5 electronics (no radio) and when trying to bind to a radio I already had the receiver fast blinks red and it wont bind? Any suggestions?

*_Problem:_* This is for the VXL-3S. I do the setup routine on my Slash, hold the button down - it goes green then it goes solid red, I let go of the button and it blinks red once, I push the throttle to full forward. So far so good. But then the light goes out *_and stays out._* The system is still on because the radio receiver LED is still on and the steering works. If I push the button again once, the ESC (and radio) turn off. Nothing will make the motor run. It was running the last time I used it about 3 years ago. The steering works so the transmitter is bound to the car. If I hold down the ESC button starting from off mode and keep holding it down it eventually starts flashing 1 red, 2 red, 3 red and then repeats the sequence. Looks like some sort of alarm code but it's not mentioned anywhere I can find. *_I wrote to Traxxas and they didn't even reply._*

I lost tons of speed on my Traxxas, E-max. I'd do immediate wheelie's and now it just don't pick up but 2 inches off the ground. Not sure if I need to adjust my controller settings or what? I mean it was hitting 60 mph easy. It's probably at 45mph. What advise can you give me?

My car won’t move forward or backward ! Whats the problem, how to know if the receiver box is no longer working even though it’s solid green and looks ok. but last time after bashing and crawling the receiver box had a very strong smell like sth is burning ! But when i opened it nothing seemed to be happening ! And when i turn the car on both esc and receiver box turn solid green as there are no problems ! It is really weird !

Hey Mark quick question please help me I have a TRX four and I use a 2 cell sell non-tracxxas battery lipo And after a few minutes of driving it will slow down and they will have a red blinking light and to fix this I just unplug the battery plug it back in turn it on and it performs like normal until the battery dies please help me I have no idea what is going on

Receiver on my TRX4 is solid red for like 2 seconds as soon as I connect the battery and then it blinks red and nothing on esc. wheels spin for a second when I connect the battery.
