Hi Razor, my power lead to my esc broke yesterday. So after re-souldering the wire, I powered up. Red light of death, I had steering but no drive. Searched your video's and yep you had the answer. I had this happen last night to my Arrma Notorious. I tried new batteries in the truck, new batteries in the radio, checked connections, then I messed with the ESC a little bit and still no change. This morning I tried this trick and it worked! Thanks 🙏🏼

Just today my ARRMA INFRACTION's ESC is blinking red, no throttle response, but there's steering. I googled the problem and that led me to your video. I saw that my throttle trim was off-center, centered it, and my throttle was back and I was rocking again. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

Excellent video, helped me out greatly. I just got a Losi truck and right out of box the red light was blinking but the tires did turn and then it just took off on its own but I caught it before any damage occurred. It then did no throttle movement, just steer. This confused and frustrated me until I came across your video and I saw the throttle trim was turned up to the max from the factory so I adjusted it to the middle and started the rc up again then all the lights turned green and the truck operated normally. You saved me a lot of time and frustration. Thank you very much!

Thanks for the video! I just picked up a new RC car and all of a sudden the throttle died on me but the steering worked. I substituted a different receiver, thinking maybe the ESC or receiver burnt out but then the ESC worked and so did the receiver so I was really confused and that’s when I noticed a blinking red light which I thought was really weird. I didn’t touch anything and then I started to get my throttle back. I did a Google search and found this video and it makes sense how you explained it. I believe when I was driving it around the other day I did have the throttle trim, turned up because I was playing around with it to see what it did. Thanks so much for explaining it and the little red, blinking light is no longer there! Thank you!

This worked for a slow blinking Himoto ESC 03108 and MT-301 sender. Changed the CH2 Throttle trim interval button way up because I could only go 5 down and was at the end... Thanks!

Thanks for that video, very useful! Hoever I have a few RC's and one of them will lose cinnection to the controller after a few minutes, sometimes the wheels turn but no throttle.Problem is, there is no throttle trim on the controller..

Yup absolutely correct. I figured this out a little while back after running into that problem with my vorteks. Turns out my kid had been messing with the transmitter. I had no idea what was going on so I just started going out over everything and STUMBLED across the solution 😂😂. Anyway great video brother you have no idea how many people you've probably helped,👊

How did you remove the dual battery cable and convert to a single input for the battery? Cut, remove second connection, solder the cable back together as just one plug? Or is there a conversion kit out there? I don’t ever play in running x2 - 3s batteries and would love to remove that second plug and jumper. Have any advice? Yours looks sweet by the way!!

Question if my truck is running and I noticed the red light will blink after running really fast on 5200mAH 80C zeee battery heavy throttle the car will slow down and no real power everything works, I thought that would be LVC or is the red blinking light telling me to let truck cool down. I check the battery and it says for average 3 cells 3.94. I am looked at manual and no mention in trouble shooting of a red blinking light if truck is to hot or ESC is to hot, Just wondering if you have an opinion on this and great vid. what if my steering doesnt work? when i turn the wheel it turns off i can straighten the wheels with my hand and it comes back to life throttle works but when i go to turn it shuts down again. if i try to drive it itll turn a bit and shutoff. car was new used it once and stopped working thought 3.85 volts was the cutoff or something on the lipo. but charged and it still doesnt work. kraton 6s v5

I was installing a new Holmes TorqueMaster Expert 550 21t motor in my TRX4 Sport to increases its drag brake efficiency. Initially only the steering worked after the motor swap. Checked all the wiring and made sure the bullet connectors were in tight. Well that seemed to fix the issue, except I wanted to adjust the forward trigger to engage sooner, so I recalibrated the 1080 ESC… and then nothing worked!!! I was at my wits end. I let the vehicle set for a couple days, and then went back to check all my GT5 Transmitter settings. It seems that somewhere I had changed the model selection to the wrong model! P.S. the drag brake on the new Holmes motor is phenomenal both in forward and reverse 😎

That happened to me & then I did what you said & my car started running again for a little bit. But now it stopped running.. my rc seems to be making a little noise, how do I know if the battery needs to be charge?? When I push forward my car moves a little bit & it makes a little noise. It’s brand new & I put the battery to charge but idk if it probably needed to be charge longer.

My receiver isn’t flashing but my terremoto v2 came stock with 7.4 4,000mah 20C batteries and I just bought new 7.4v 5,000mah 50C batteries and the throttle worked for a second but then stopped and the steering works and there is no flashing light but could the 50C be an issue it did it fry my speed controller?

My kraton 6s had this issue. It was partially cut wiring, the 3 wire from esc to radio receiver. Factory routed the wiring under the esc mount, that’s where the wiring was damaged.
