Yo! At 77 y.o. I'm have problems like yours, as well Mark. I finally came to the conclusion, years ago, I HAVE TO CONTROL MY EATING. Cut ✂️ out sugars, things that turn into sugars, and regularly do light exercise, like cycling in a non-hilly area. I suppose that's why my channel moved away from hiking. It got harder for me, plus, I have to help my wife, who has her own challenges. It keeps me going, buddy, lowering my weight and blood sugar. // My sympathies to you for the loss of your friend. I’m so sorry to hear that brother, but I surely understand it. I have a lot of arthritis all through me, and currently a pinched nerve in my right hip/leg. My upper leg is actually numb, but thank God I can still walk. I try to stay away from all meds if possible, because I’m very med sensitive. I take Aleve 2 times a day, most days, and I’ve had to adjust my diet for cholesterol, blood sugar, and BP (I take no medicine for any of it). It is extremely hard trying to figure it all out. I have lost weight thankfully. But daily pain is not good, as it wears on you. It’s darn frustrating. Gentle stretches, getting up and moving around is good, sitting/standing in moderation. I will say the I’ve had to have steroid shots in my knees, and steroids for my hip/leg. It helped get me on my feet again. But, this isn’t about me, it’s about you. I’m just an almost 65 year old female sharing what works for me, and I pray you get some relief soon brother. We love you brother and please take good care 🙏🏼 P.S. I wouldn’t be wearing a bicycle top either 😂 God Bless you!

Mark, have you been following the political scene? RFKjr has presented a major glitch in the American food system, 1000 ingredients that are put into our food which are banned in many other countries, as a start to look into. I love a random doughnut as much as you, the best was a home fried doughnut cooked in bear fat. What I grew up with compared to today is not what it used to be, McDonald's french fries have 19 ingredients compared to the past when they had three, potatoes, tallow and salt. I have people/friends all around me that are now diabetic with glucose patches, something that was almost unheard of. We are being poisoned. I'm on my own personal journey now, I've had chronic underlaying infection for half my life, likely related to poor teeth and root cannels and mercury fillings, both of which are now on the mend and am seeing major improvements in my arthritic ailments, I'm almost 60 I've been through some crazy diets from a year as a total raw vegan to a number of years on keto and and still seeking what fits me. We are all different what works for one may not be exactly what another needs. Seek out some out of the box solutions and keep at it. As mentioned in other comments Dr Berry is a good fellow to start with. There are others too.
@EatCarbsАй бұрын
I firmly believe that we ARE being poisoned by the food we're given. When they add things so the food stays fresher, for longer. That's not good. They also charge more for fruits and veggies than they do for candy and cookies. They want is sick so Big Pharm can cash in. Thanks for watching brother
