Exceedingly grateful to have found this series on the gospel through Mark's resource library. 🙌 I shared some of the insights that have come to me through these videos, using Isaiah 61, with my life group. So healing! Then, driving home, I was listening to the latter half of this video and I thought of that song "Broken Together" by Casting Crowns. Specifically it's about a marriage in desperate need of healing, and I think it's a beautiful picture of how this journey is relational, as you so frequently communicate, Mark. Thank you for the time you take in pouring into people. Your compassion is so evident.

I never heard either of my parents tell me they loved me, you just said this is a huge trauma, i spent my whole life firstly unmarried, fear of intimacy, stress insomnia, unable to feel, bone crushing loneliness to top it all significant hair loss which really effected my confidence. Thank you for this video❤

Everyone is moving and doing things and i have to stop and grieve my fathers death. It’s AWFUL. But i refuse to skip my process and go on living as if nothing happened to me. I’m going to STOP and allow myself to be weak. I’m allowing myself to get to know Gods strength and heal CORRECTLY. NO STONE UNTURNED. You get it Mark. I thank God so much for you….

Live comment as I listen: I Your videos help me think. When I listen to them, I can picture my past and where I missed the opportunities. It is now helping me (going forward, since I can’t change the past) become more self aware to acknowledge my behaviors and also listen to others responses/suggestions/reactions. The importance of slowing down and being quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to anger (Scripture paraphrasing)! God’s ways are always for our benefits! 🥲 My mother and father never told me they loved me. We didn’t hug or kiss. I never knew how badly I needed to experience that. On top of that I’ve had trauma. I’m so thankful that the Father loves me with no conditions and no wavering. I’m learning it. Going to take time but I believe it in my heart. Wow! I cry and would try to push it back and now I say “receive from the Lord” and let Him nurture me. Makes me feel loved right now just thinking about our private time together allowing Him to heal me. Yay! He’s with me in the healing journey! 😭 In Jesus name, Amen 🙏🏽

Thanks again Mark for all you do with your videos... Speaking of crying , I rediscovered a wonderful song sung by Peggy March who had a hit with it back in the 60's : 'I Will Follow Him'. There are a number of versions on utube but there a couple that each time I listen , tears just flow . The lyrics , the melody , the energy , joy and love that the singer brings to this wonderful song just touches me. And at 64 years young it feels so good to experience such emotions when connecting Him with Jesus...💔✝️🆓 I highly recommend you and everyone here check out Peggys 50th anniversary recording of this song , Peggy March and Jose' Hoebee duet recording...plus Andrea Rieu version . That's the end of my plug .😁

When you use the term "heart", what exactly are you referring to, from a biblical perspective? (Inner man, soul, spirit, combination of both, etc.)
