Shirou vs Kirei is so much deeper than just "Good people can do bad things too", kinda sad some people reduce it to just that. Is it possible for someone to be born inherently evil? Is it fair to get rid of them in that case? Is it okay for that person to continue to live as their programming demands it? We decided as a society that the answer was no, but that's humanity passing judgement on humanity through rationality. Existing as one of these outliers Kirei believed his soul was malleable and tried to become good. Seeking an answer from a higher existence once it became obvious that he could not change who he was.

Unfortunately, the movies kinda ruined that fight in favor of flashy colors and good animation with the superficial Rider vs Saber, a battle that people only remember because of how good it looks. The only reason Rin vs Sakura got any decent treatment was because the director was an obvious Sakura simp and they could drawn some nice action, something they couldn't do with Shirou vs Kirei and even then they screwed the tactics of the fight. The Heaven's Feel movies have some of the best direction that Fate has gotten in regards to anime adaptations, but they still commit countless mistakes thanks to their 6 hour runtime. A shame I must say, Shirou and Kirei are 2 of my favorite nasuverse characters and having their 1v1 being so mistreated in favor of the short-skirt waifus was a low blow for me.

Especially Sieg vs Karna, Achilles vs Chiron and Sieg vs Shirou are amazing fights from Apocrypha. Over than maybe a rewatch of Grand Order, I'm looking for Strange Fake this summer. I'm sure it will reserve many surprises.

I have to remind y'all that every time (besides Strange Fake) we had seen Herakles yet we had seen him at his weakest. Possibly with a spirit origin corresponding his final moments, when he was agonising because of hydra venom, yet still unable to die. Every other class he is eligible for (that being all regular ones sans Caster) are even more strong and capable than Berserker. Every. Single. One.

And Alcides is him after having completed the twelve labors and armed with his Bow and arrows, the noble phantasm Shirou traced and modified to defeat Hercules. Each shot is comparable to an Excalibur blast (Fate/Stay level, calm down). Combined an even more broken noble phantasm. Something that will likely require both Gilgamesh and Enkidu together to stand a chance against.

Not exactly. Only Saber class and Archer class are confirmed to be stronger than Berserker class FOR HERACLES so far. With Archer class being the strongest for him according to Nasu. We do not know if Lancer, Rider or Assassin class would suit him more than Berserker though. Regardless, Archer Heracles is a complete monster compared to Berserker Heracles yeah

Oh boi, i do hope LB6 would get one. The whole chapter was written so beautifully, i don't think i have felt so attached to the characters like any other chapters before. And the soundtracks, they fit like a glove to each scene, i really like Morgan's theme, it hurts to listen to her theme and be reminded what she had gone through. They nailed every aspect of the Avalon chapter so much.

My favorite fight was Achilles vs Chiron. It was the most brutal and very well developed hand to hand fight scene I've ever seen in the Fate series. I would have rated it 1 or 2, definitely over the Rin and Sakura fight. In my opinion fights between servants are way more interesting then a magnus vs another opponent. The Cu Chulainn vs Archer Emiya battle was very impressive to.

As an animator and working in the field of graphic arts, I confirm that making fight scenes using colorful effects, explosions, magic,... much easier than doing a traditional fight scene using the body, each other in Kiritsugu vs Kirei 19:00 (fate/zero). At the time this movie came out, its animation was top notch. Nowadays, film studios overuse effects and effects, but ignore the artistry of animation

looking back its insane how many good fights arent animated, looking at this as a non fight fan its cool but as someone whos seen and read almost all of typemoon, theirs just so many cool things and fights they should animate. imagine arjuna alter vs god karna or orion shooting down artimis and archer hercules fighting gilgamesh, hippolyta and richard at once i think. all of bazets fights in hollow ataraxia are awesome. just wish typemoon would animate the better fates
