The 8.62m jump legit looked like he was flying. It's insanely impressive and one of the longest jumps this year by anyone. It does sound a little... cocky when he says it's only the gold he's aiming for and a new WR, but he's been unbeaten for the past 10 years and has been breaking his own world records for years and years. It's honestly quite impressive how anyone can stay motivated for that long in this situation. He tried to compete at the Olympics, would've been okay outside of the competition, but he was denied by World Athletics, IOC and CAS.
