The difference is, Selene only gave Viktor enough blood to wake him whereas Marcus was fed a full Lycan which also turned him into a hybrid.

@@robertoprimordial2633it’s bc his twin brother, William was first bitten by a rabid wolf thus altering his special Corvinus gene and turning him into a Lycan. As for Markus yes he was the first Vampire bc his gene first got altered when he was bitten by a bat which turned him into the first Vampire. however Markus never drank Lycan blood until this moment so it turned him into a vampire dominant hybrid (an immortal with vampire and Lycan traits). Whereas their distant relative, Michael was a Lycan dominant hybrid bc he was Lycan first before he became hybrid by drinking Selene’s blood in the first movie. As for William maybe the lycan curse in him from being the first was so strong that he couldn’t become a hybrid that or maybe he never drank a vampire’s blood before he was imprisoned so he never had the opportunity to become a hybrid.
