Alexander Corvinus is alive and active in this period as a True Immortal (ie he doesn't require blood for sustenance and he's physically stronger than any vampire or Lycan, with the possible exception of William and the other werewolves). At some point he'll found the Cleaners - an order of human knights quietly removing all evidence of the existence of vampires and Lycans in order to help maintain their secrecy.
