Oh god. That thumbnail brings back bad memories. I still remember how much Jon Moxley hated the whole "You fans stink" gimmick on his Talk is Jericho interview. And Lars Sullivan is a name I'll never forget to this day. Also it's crazy how much WWE has changed from then to now. Most of the wrestlers in that video aren't even in that company while only a few are either still there or were recently bought back once HHH took over. And this is coming from someone that stopped watching WWE shows around that time.

Man 2018-2019 Raw was absolutely dreadful. Pretty much Rollins and Ziggler in the IC title scene carried most of it with Brock never on tv. I stopped watching Raw regularly around this time, but I got back into it recently after SummerSlam. It would be interesting to see you review the newer Raw and Smackdown shows with Triple H in charged. Definitely much better, but I can't sit through a 3 hour show. It's way too much.

For some added context: Roman had just announced his departure to fight leukemia, and Ambrose had just turned heel (on the same night of Roman's announcement). So what should have been a hot feud, was already goofy with Ambrose complaining about the people being gross. And it didn't feel like they tried to fill the gap of Roman being gone. It felt like watching any boring episode of raw with even less direction and without its main character

For a little context Dolph Ziggler and Seth Rollins have had been feuding from the middle of 2018 until this episode with them being in the ring together 15 times, and the crowd were bored of it. As for the music part, Jim Johnston (The Man whose known for making classic entrance themes back in the day) was let go by the WWE in 2017, he was replaced by CFO$ that's why the music isn't what it once was.

TV shows from this era aren't bad separately, so I doubt they'll even come close to a title change. Watching this shit regularly though could drive a person insane, and from what I know, the boring segments with a wrestler trying to be an authority figure with a stable of boring bad guys beating everybody up, and dumb stuff with women's division were a constant at this time

Personally I like the brand split, bad writing is just bad writing and 2011-2015 showed even with all the stars on one show it can still be terrible. And then Smackdown since the brand split started in 2016 has been really good at times

If anything in the last few years that could challenge for worst show, Raw after Wrestlemania 37, April 12th, 2021. When Retribution tried to join the Hurt business, when Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke intentionally got counted out of a tag title match then acting like they won. Riddle got squashed. It was also Bray Wyatt's last appearance for over a year after what happened the night before.

I remember hearing about this episode of RAW. I’d already given up on RAW a couple months prior because of how abysmal the show was, but I still heard about how atrocious it was, and I was like “holy shit, it really can get worse!”. This was a dark time for WWE main roster. Seth Rollins’ IC Title reign was the only thing that was interesting. Everyone else was either getting buried, was injured, or just was barely being used. Didn’t help that this was also when Lesnar was holding the title hostage.

There was a Monday Night Raw during the 1st Divas Search contest that only had 2 matches on the entire night. I don't remember the 1st match but right after that it was the Divas Search segment that went on WAY too long and then after that it was an hour long Iron Man match which was the main event and that was it, that was the entire episode of Monday Night Raw that night.

That was July 26, 2004. I just got done looking it up, and the first match was the Battle Royal to determine the #1 contender for SummerSlam. Apparently it went through two commercial breaks. The Diva Search segment (seducing Kamala) was the only in-ring segment between the opening battle royal and the Iron Man match. I don't know why you decided to bring this up? That was a pretty great and memorable show.
