I'm a wrestler in Memphis and brian worked our shows a few times his last one came days just before his passing he was an incredibly helpful and knowledgeable worker willing to help young talent and pretty selfless worker he was damn riot outside the ring homie was always joking and laughing with us. My last memory of him. Some guys and I were standing outside the building after the show. Brian pulls in front of us says thanks I love you guys and said "Always remember to" then suddenly started blasting the too cool theme song hit his laugh like only he could and speed off into the night! 😂😂 I miss that man!

I actually met both him and Scotty 2 Hotty outside of Full Sail Arena after NXT during their very short run down there. Guy was an absolute riot. Him and Scotty bought dinner for me and my girlfriend at the time after the show and we literally spent like an hour and a half just cracking jokes and talking about wrestling stuff. Super laid-back and funny guys. Really miss Brian.

For all the incel talk I am shocked about the amount of wrestlers who die in some suicidal fashion without having any kids. It's a real shame I liked Grandmaster Sexay and I felt him and Scotty 2 Hottie did a better wigger gimmick than Cena ever did, at least they knew it was a joke and didn't try to come off as seriously being some hard gangsta.

Lynn wasn’t a mid-carder his whole career. His run to the title in dying ECW around the year 2000-2001 maybe, was remarkable and probably the single consistent saving grace of their shows while Rob Van Dam was out with the big knee injury (that injury is actually what doomed ECW, the fact that it’s always glazed over as a huge factor in their demise doesn’t make sense to me. Rob was kind if ECW’s Stone Cold without ever officially turning him face) him and Corino both did really good work at the end in the main event but they only had two other “main eventers” to work with when it was falling apart, Paul’s booking was really phoning it in at the end, so if the boys couldn’t come up with their own good stuff they didn’t get much to work with. It’s a shame Jerry Lynn doesn’t get his due though, he, Guerrero, Benoit, XPac and RVD were all huge factors in allowing normal size dudes capable of winning major world titles. Before those guys Shawn Michaels was the smallest you could possibly be and be a world champion.

It was Jeff Jarrett’s catchphrase in WCW. “My grandmother used to call folks, ‘slappies’, and that is people who slap their gums. They know more and more about less and less everyday. During that time, the slap nuts just rolled off. Good old standards and practices of Turner, when they called me in, at a Nitro, slap nuts was really just first taking off. They were like, ‘We need to ask you a question’, and they were dead serious. They said, ‘What does slap nuts mean? We have looked in the Urban Dictionary and we can’t find it.” I’m like, wow, this business has come a long way. I’m being questioned about where slap nuts came from.” - From Jeff Jarrett himself
