Since Lanier is so pressured, I’m sure not many people throwing a tube down here for spots. I need to resurrect that idea, and give it a shot. Ha ha

I like the stupid tube but I hate having to take the hook off every time I change my tube so I switched to the Trokar TK190 tube hook and they are awesome!

My all time favorite bait. Caught tons of fish on it. Never tried it weedless like that. I think that will work great for me. Have to get me some of those hooks.

Dude, I've been fishing the Stupid Tube rig for about 6 years and it kicks Bass. I need it in our lakes in Southern New England because of all the cover. It rarely gets hung -up. Get some of those jig heads and You'll be glad you did.

I do something similar but use a tube on a swimbait hook. Spring screw in the head and then it's belly weighted. Give a much different look for them

Generally no I don't crack a stupid tube. I usually fish it more like a standard jig or Texas rig soft plastic.
