I’m a member of Nel’s group, have ordered one wig so far, Kenya in blonde-brown. It is so gorgeous, soft fiber, feels so natural, the most impeccable hairline I’ve ever seen. I couldn’t be happier. The hard part is choosing my next wig from so many beautiful options. I think it will be Ayla. Nellie does pause customizations periodically when she gets busy, and I got Kenya during that time. I had no problem cutting her and adding lifetime, but I do think I might have Ayla customized. In fact I think I’d better order it as soon as she opens customizations again (I think tomorrow?) because I have a feeling she will be inundated with orders! She deserves every success! ❤❤❤

Honestly, Jean the cap feels no different than my hand-tied caps as far as breathable. As you know, I live in FL. This is beautiful! I never knew of Nels wigs before but I’ll definitely check it out. I just heard of the Futura fibers last week. The local wig shop had one and it had similar features with the strap, combs, etc. I’d be interested to hear how the fibers hold up after wearing over time.

Hi Suzi, thank you so much for stopping by! I had never heard of futura fibers either, so I reached out to some of the brands asking for their thoughts on Futura fibers vs the fibers used up until now, Modacrylic. Here's what Belle Tress, Jon Renau, and Ellen Wille had to say: Both fibers are synthetics used in wigs. The main difference is that Futura is a recently introduced fiber, more advanced, and designed to look and feel like real hair. While Modacrylic is the fiber primarily used up until recently, it is slightly coarser and has a lower heat resistance. All 3 brands have recently been blending both types of fibers, but are slowly going to Futura for the heat friendly wigs due to the natural appearance and better heat tolerance... While they seem excited with this new fiber, I will test and wear the ones I've purchased from Nel to see how the fibers hold up, wash, tangle, and heat resistance. I'll be reporting back on my experience and the wear. xoxo Marlene

Hi Shelley, thank you so much for visiting. I just spray close to my hairline, wait about a minute, apply the wig then press down on the lace and run my hands to the ear tabs. To remove it, I spray the wig remover where I applied the adhesive, run a Qtip between my skin and the wig. It'll separate very easily and non gunk on the hair. I do take a makeup remover wipe and use it to remove any residue left on the lace. If any gets on my bio hair, I spray some adhesive remover and wipe it off with a damp towel. xoxo Marlene

Hi Libby, thank you so much and thank you for stopping by! I'm not certain I understand your question. The length on mine is 18" if you are referring to the length of mine. I ordered Missy on 1/3 and it was delivered on 1/14 even though Nellie shipped it out on the 8th. She's in Utah and I'm in Fl; all my wigs from brands located on the west coast always take anywhere from 5 - 7 days to arrive. Something else to keep in mind is that Nellie does all the customizations herself; depending on how many orders she has to customize will determine how long it will take to ship out. When she has too many wigs to work on, she pauses customizations. Please keep me posted on how you like you Missy. I hope you love it as much as I do. xoxo Marlene

Hi Cheryl, thank you so much for stopping byl I purchased the average size and found it had a bit of stretch and could probably fit up to a 22" I tightened the strap and if fit securely on my 21.5" and I wear a wig grip. Hi Martha, thank you so much for stopping by and the lovely compliment! I have a 21.5" and this Missy in average fit me just fine. When looking on Nel's website at each of the styles, all the measurements are included not just the circumference as we're accustomed to seeing with the popular brands. Nel adds the circumference, front to back, ear to ear, etc. If you find your measurements to be smaller, you can have the wig customized to your size or reach out to Nel and she will help you determine if the customization is necessary. what modifications specifically did you do to this wig? I visited their site and this style seems to already have face framing layers (I would probably shorten 2-3 inches). It seems to be a very similar style to the courtney I normally wear & great color. Thanks for the adhesive info. My normal adhesive just changed its formula and doesn’t work as well anymore.

The other customization I requested was for the length to be shortened to 18". I noticed when I placed a recent order that Nel also offers curtain bangs which, I believe, are shorter than what I asked for.
