You should get and bring a Silky folding saw with you! I often creek fish and always clear my paths with it. Also good to cut down small trees and branches to retrieve lures 😉

I think people should carry a kind of grappling hook on a thin rope with them if they have expensive/special baits. They you can go to that tree and toss the rope onto the branch and hopefully get the lure back. Or maybe put a pole saw in the truck? It's worth a try on a lure that you spent hours making.

I think you could use a little bit of heat from a torch to pop all bubbles when the resin is setting. I know they brush heat over really big pours to help with bubbles

I’m tossing an idea out there: If you rub a little acetone on the eye to prep the surface of the plastic then the resin might not spall, holiday, or bubble as easily… I dunno, it’s worth a shot.
