It had no bearing on the game, but the video replay was clear that he was Safe! Now, We Face the Paads.... Hope the Mets arnt stupid at the deadline. I know they’re not far out from the wildcard, but they should sell anyone with a pulse and rebuild. Between a lot of prospects and tons of money off the books this off-season. They can be good again quick if they make the right moves. Just don’t want another situation where they trade for a Baez type

I highly doubt they will reach the wild card, they are a very inconsistent team, I see this season more as one of transition, to know who contributes and who does not. I hope they make the best decisions since I would like to see the Mets in the postseason in the future.

@@geraldZ07 agreed lol that’s why I want them to sell. Only people I think should be untouchable(or won’t be able to be traded) are: Diaz, lindor, Alvarez, Vientos, and nimmo (and even nimmo I would trade for the right price) sadly all the tradable pieces are doing horrible, and all the prospects close to the majors have had bad season hahaha

@@paulkuhns2175 I would keep Alvarez and try to find a reliever like Leclerc or Miller (Although I find it very difficult for one of the two to make it to the team) in order to have a quality replacement when it comes to closing the games, Since Díaz doesn't give me many guarantees. And I think that leaving Alonso and Lindor would also be the best, they are leaving a lot to the team. And about Winds and Nimmo, I could tell you a lot of truth, I just hope that next season is better.

@@gr33kb0y99 I’m already having it, because they have nowhere near the talent to win. The last two years looking at the roster, and the payroll has been insane. It does not add up. They have tons of dead money tjis year from trades…but even last year told my dad that roster is one of the least cost efficient of all time. They just expect everyone to have a career year like in 2022 lol

I hate these types of season. The Mets throw together a win streak then lose the next 8 out of 10 games. Those wins only give the delusional fans hope, only to be shot down two weeks later. These Mets are a .500 team at best until proven otherwise.
