Chito has VERY good English. Like obviously his accent is pretty thick but he has basically perfect English, he uses phrases that most ppl who don't speak English as a first language wouldn't understand, like colloquialisms, he understands the questions without needing them worded in a more simplistic way. This is not an O'Malley hating post, before you guys get yourselves all worked up. But, if I was Chito I'd be kind of annoyed. The UFC uses rankings and "MMA math" when convenient and then ignores it for some. Chito has beaten higher ranked opponents and has even beaten O'Malley by definition, yet O'Malley is one fight away from a title fight. I personally would have liked to see Chito/Yan and O'Malley/Cruz and truthfully I think they're better fights stylistically.

I think O’Malley is being wrapped in cotton wool, he has an advantage in this fight, he’s taller, starts quickly, he won’t have to worry about being taken down and held there plus it’s a three rounder so by the time Yan has him figured out it’s too late to really work. He’s entertaining though and has a fan friendly style.
