I've read many of the comments on this and the original with Dean Ford (including a very recent vid of him doing Reflections with Joe Tansin), I feel this line-up does a credible job. Since they've been performing as Marmalade for over 40 years it seems they've earned the right to represent. I don't think the nasty comments about Sandy are fair. However, Dean definitely IS the Marmalade and should be recognized as such.There needs to be a true documentary that represents all the band members cronologically.

This is typical of Sandy, I remember him from Bracknell & the lovely Crooked Billet pub. the original band was matchless, but it's also nice to see this tribute act keeping the songs alive.

I would love to see them again even if they are "old" rockers. I signed them what must have been their first first gig in the early 60s for a do at a social club in Thornliebank, Glasgow for the pricely fee of ten shillings

I love this video, it looks like they were having so much fun. I wish I could find bios on the members of the Marmalade when Dean was around, I love their music and videos but there doesn't seem to be anything on the web about their families, parents, siblings, spouses and kids, I would love to know more. I know what privacy is but I'm a detail person and always want to learn more.

Even if they are not all the original musicians doesn't mean they are not great musicians. Nobody can take the place of Dean, Junior, Pat and Alan but they still make great music in their own right. It's good to see Graham and the band carrying the banner for a group that has a very special place in the collective soul of generations of music lovers. Seen and heard Dean Ford a couple of years ago in USA still a decent singer, but if truth be told Sandy Newman the current lead singer with Marmalade is the better frontman and a decent singer and its fantastic that he has continued with the band and stopped it from disappearing.....So lets be thankful to both singers and all past and present Marmalade members......And if you want to talk about original members it would be best to remember, that in the year 1970 less that 15% of 60's bands/groups were original even then. That was the nature of being in a group/band, members keep leaving and new ones appear...

Sandy joined the group back in the 70s I think their were 3 of the originals in the group ,the others have gone so he takes the Marmalade on. ,I can only see that as a plus , and now his son also plays so why not carry Marmalade on into the future ,they do a great job . How is this a documentary about The Marmalade? Graham Knight and 3 other guys who were not in the original group..that's not Marmalade. I know it's been years but it's not right... should have gotten a new name. Dean Ford IS Marmalade..and Junior Campbell... This is not a documentary at all. I can't watch Sandy Newman. Good songs are good songs. While this wasn't the original line up of the band they still did an admirable job of recreating the Marmalade catalogue on stage. I was lucky to get to see this line up a few times. Yes, the miming on this video is a bit cringeworthy and it doesn't do any justice to this band at all. Sandy Newman is a brilliant singer and was a worthy replacement for Dean Ford. Great band, the original and the later incarnation - both.
