I love this program, but there are little to no tutorials for it by users. I've ended up using it for environment art due to this and touching up in Aseprite.

This program deserves more fame, but I think Marmoset are not interested in promoting Hexels, you even didn't make a forum for Hexels or a supporting page, why?

It's slow when i do hand drawn art, how to fix it? Glow is turned off and it works fine when i'm making vector and pixel art, but lags when i try to kinda draw normally with a soft brush

Hey I’ve just started using Hexels and was wondering about a paint-over effect that I have in Trixel style when I do The Tutorial 1 blue Cubes. Whenever I have a stuck pallet and draw with a bright color above a dark colour, you can still see the darker color dimly through it until I draw over it more often with the bright. Could you help me with this issue?

How do I enable painting? I have Marmoset hexels 3 steam version

I hope you found the answer. you can do it by creating a new pixel layer. Took me a while to find out. That will enable you to paint :)
