@iiAlyssa You can use the violin tutorials to learn posture and technique for viola. You just have to remember you're a string lower when you go to actually play a song. Usually that means simply dropping it an octave. If you're just beginning to learn you shouldn't worry about playing a full piece, though. It's very important to focus on beginner technique before you start attempting music.

He plays by ear. It's a good skill to have, but if you can't do that yet then search for free sheet music. If you can find a MIDI file (or "Synthesia" video) you can get the sheet music from that. Good luck.
