Lyrics Sunday morning, rain is falling Steal some covers, share some skin Clouds are shrouding us in moments unforgettable You twist to fit the mold that I am in But things just get so crazy, living life gets hard to do And I would gladly hit the road, get up and go if I knew That someday it would lead me back to you That someday it would lead me back to you That may be all I need In darkness, she is all I see Come and rest your bones with me Driving slow on Sunday morning And I never want to leave Fingers trace your every outline Paint a picture with my hands Back and forth we sway like branches in a storm Change the weather, still together when it ends That may be all I need In darkness, she is all I see Come and rest your bones with me Driving slow on Sunday morning And I never want to leave But things just get so crazy, living life gets hard to do Sunday morning, rain is falling and I'm calling out to you Singing, someday it'll bring me back to you. Find a way to bring myself back home to you That may be all I need In darkness, she is all I see Come and rest your bones with me Driving slow on Sunday morning Driving slow It's flower in your hair I'm a flower in your hair

For those who are wondering who is "Joshua" and why are people calling themselves 'carat' Joshua hong is a kpop idol from the group (of 13 members) called SEVENTEEN. He is a LA boy working in korea. Apart from their own songs, he also does english covers and this song is his personal favourite because it made him standout in seventeen for not only for his sweet voice but also singing in english (which international fans connect to and korean fans look up to) He is an inspiration for many carats who wants to study or work in different country, who wants to learn different languages. Someone who lives in a different country but wants to explore or go back to find their roots. For us carats(seventeen's fandom name) This song is like Joshua's entry song. Joshua breaths this song and thanks to him we also fell for this song. It has good rythm and nice lyrics. We genuinely appreciate the makers and the singer of this song. We love music and we love all the artist who makes it and promotes it. A big thankyou to people who took time and interest to read this comment. I love curious people like you who wants to have knowledge of everything they find different.🤝👍 💎💎💎

@TheHotFalafel9 жыл бұрын
+JDChicago It truly does. But sadly in this case Maroon 5's change isn't music evolving into the "new sound". It's more of Maroon 5's marketing evolution. They wen't from a popular funk/jazz group, and know it's just all about Adam selling out to a more popular and profitable genre, electronic dance music. The change wasn't for the sake of music. It was for the money and contracts. That's why only Adam gets the publicity, the spots on late night shows and a chair on the voice. He probably got approached by some big business men in suits who offered him more if he signed himself to them. You never actually get to see the band get interviews or TV spots. It's almost like all the credit goes to him now.

And they never made another song like this again. Honestly, Adam Levine is one of my all time favorite voices. No matter what music he sings, nothing will change that fact. However, I do love the old Maroon 5 more than the current one. I feel like their old songs were more original and special. I've always thought that some songs just literally screamed that they were written by the person who was singing them. For example, 'Hallelujah', 'Apologize', 'I'm not the only one', 'Don't' and 'Wake Up Call'. I used to feel that way about quote a few of their songs, but now I don't feel like that any more.I do semi enjoy their current songs because they're catchy and sometimes amusing, but then I listen to this song, and it makes me long for their old material. What Adam does at the end of Sunday Morning, like I said before, he never does again. It's raw, and beautiful, and it just makes me sad. Because when Adam was in Begin Again and he sang "Lost Stars", I got that special feeling again. And I know that he didn't write it, but I know that he is perfectly capable of writing that same kind of perfect song, and that that's what Maroon 5 should be playing.
@pabloalvarado43569 жыл бұрын

I disagree!!! Music today is so shitty compared to the 1960 to 1980's. Adam Levine and Mick Hucknall are two of the best of all time!!! Berta

@@berta7019 in my opinion music peaked in the 90s and early 2000s. So many pointless ass lyrics to those 60s and 80s songs. Songs really found meaning in the 90s, but have declined since then.

i doubt it has to do with his ego... sex sells, he's an attractive guy, the record label wants people to watch and share them... all of that equals having more Adam in their music videos.

This song is special to me because of the lyrics and the time it was released. Especially "But things just get so crazy, living life gets hard to do Sunday morning, rain is falling and I'm calling out to you "And I would gladly hit the road, get up and go if I knew That someday it would lead me back to you" I think back to the 16 year old I was when this was released. The free spirit I was, the endless possibilities that lay in front of you as a teen. The blank book my life was. The lesson to me is the older we grow the more we miss periods of our lives so make the most of every moment, and realize how significant some things are, and how un significant some things are. As I've gotten older I've learned I cared to much about things that didn't matter. And not cared enough about important things. I know the song is about a past relationship, but it also feels like it is about reminiscing about a time period of their lives. It seems that even if they got back together it wouldn't be the same.

This comment is one of the best comments I’ve ever read. You just captured this song in a way that completely touched me. What a powerful final thought. Some things are only a moment - a period of time meant to be enjoyed then, but not forever. What a strange world. I hope that you are doing well wherever you are. Thanks for leaving your comment, it really moved me.

I personally think Songs About Jane was Adam's best album. It's authentic. It's one of those albums where you can just plug it in and lay back and listen to. I enjoy the new stuff, but it's so distorted from what I think Adam Levine really wants to do. It's a shame, I miss authentic music.
