Helllooo everybody and come along for the ride as I birth the Marquette Golden Eagles program on NCAA 14.
In this episode, our Golden Eagles look to remain undefeated following a victory in the War For Wisconsin last week as we took down the #25 Wisconsin Badgers for the first time in that rivalry series. Now we fly south for a marquee matchup against the #6 Miami Hurricanes.
The Hurricanes come off their first ACC Championship in program history and have enjoyed three consecutive double-digit win seasons under the tutelage of Al Golden who is now in his eighth season with the team. The Hurricanes boast a tremendous passing attack led by senior QB Rhema Bailey along with a deep corps of receivers. Marquette senior CB Aaron Clark returns from injury just in time for this tough matchup.
In the next episode, we'll host a ranked Purdue team who have enjoyed tremendous success over the past couple of seasons following their tenure as a Big Ten bottom dweller. Leading the charge for the Boilermakers is arguably the nation's top QB in Jesse Hicks at 97 overall. In addition to being another tough matchup for the Golden Eagles, a flurry of recruits will be in attendance for their official visits so even more is on the line for Marquette.
