The condos aren't bringing any new business to town since more than half are still empty and the ones that are bought half of those people are only here for a very short time out of the year. I love Marquette with all my heart and love the beautiful nature around it, let's not let the money hungry trolls try to turn it into Traverse City.

@Smsleeman i totally agree with you. i have a business down town and when i drive into work i get bummed that they are destroyingthe beauty by building condos. communtiy garden would be awesome. The founders Landing thing is just so sad, it could have been some place so beautiful with flowers and benches to enjoy the view of lake Superior. Focus on what we have and quit building and taking up beautiful land

Great job showcasing the town. Although, I'm a lifetime resident and 100% disapprove of all of the condominiums springing up all over town. Why not have a community garden or something else that everyone can enjoy... not just money hungry trolls that like to escape their sanctuaries downstate to be up here 1 week out of the year.

I live in gang infested California. You guys really have it good. I dream of living in a small intimate community like Marquette. Or any where outside California. So much crime exists here, and I don't even live in a major city. I'm in the Central Valley. My town has about 25,000 people, about the size of Marquette, and still there is so much crime. I HATE IT!!

love where I live. I lived in san diego for a few years i am happy to be back. i appreciate it so much more.. The only thing i don't like is that we are getting greedy and trying to be like traverse City. Quit building condos they ruin the beauty that we have. San Diego is great but same thing they built up by the ocean.. Lets enjoy what we have and leave it alone. People come here to enjoy the beauty not the condos

Love the Farmers' Market, Library, Food Co-op, shops, people... HATE the plans of the money-men to turn this lovely place into Traverse City. Condos on the lake are not what makes Marquette "charming".

Nice concept but poor video quality. The fish-eye lens was very distracting. Could have shown more of NMU buildings.
