He has really changed now that he has Shiyi by his side. He is normally a person who follows the family rules but for Shiyi's happiness he is willing to risk everything for her. He is really supportive of her. I love that he's able to see her sincerity in wanting to help the refugees after all it was her idea. It's really sweet how he's protecting her in secret. Here we go again Lianfang is trying to start trouble for Shiyi. The old battle axe is easy to deceive especially since she is already bias towards Shiyi. I'm so happy that Lingyi heard their conversation and is defending his wife. Lianfang actually thought he was going to side with them...lol She is out of her league no matter what she tries to pull Shiyi/lingyi is always one step ahead of her.
