@bobbabb4 күн бұрын
@@cool_man3737 No. The 200th best fortnite player can make a living off of it, while in other games only the top 50 may be able to, so by the definition of living off of earnings then perhaps fortnite isn't the hardest, but to be top 200 in Fortnite is harder than being top 200 in any other game. @TwardyMatthew3 күн бұрын
Fortnite is probably by far one of the hardest games to go pro in ever. Now that is not to say it is hard to get EARNINGS. Those are very different things. I’ve watched a lot of games and the thing that is unique about Fortnite is how much it changes, a game like cs for example will stay the same, the map will change and of course buys but the meta is always there. In Fortnite it drastically shifts season to season, so if there is even one that you take off skills take an unbelievable dip compared to other games. The other aspect is the building and the awareness Fortnite players need to have, instead of being in somewhat set matchups like in LoL as a Fortnite player it is you vs 33 other teams, the awareness it takes in endgame to be able to properly rotate and conserve mats and get refreshes is why I argue it one of the hardest games ever to actually be pro in

an issue with playing creative is its really hard to find someone to punish your mistakes that stays in the game long enough without repeatedly telling you that you're ass at the game, most of the good players that have the ability to use any mistake against you will leave if you arent as good as they are, if anything, it could be more efficient to get a permanent duo that is close or just slightly better than you are to do 1v1's with, that way they arent going to leave immediately and arent going to call you slurs and tell you that you suck (if you pick the right person)

The thing about Fortnite is that there is no tutorial on how to play the game by Epic themselves. This leaves players to learn the game by either by trial and error only, which and take years or actual methodical practice. The skill gap is just so wide. I feel like you need to be paying attention at all times and when someone is way better than you at building and editing and they’re just faster than you in general it’s so hard to keep an eye on them while also like protecting yourself and getting shots off.

Honestly, imma be 100%, Fortnite is deffo not the hardest game to go pro in, its just there are many people that don't practice properly (eg. wasting time freebuilding if you have bad aim/aim training if you have terrible building etc). I think this makes it seem like you get stuck in "Unreal but not good enough to beat a pro", people COULD consistently aim train, do perfect peeking practice, do scrims with a goal in mind etc, but most people see Fortnite as go fast, fight fast, if I die I'm unlucky and that is just wasted time that could be used improving by analysis of mistakes. Compare Fortnite to Valorant or CS, where it is common to aim train, deathmatch, know basic strategies, and people have a lot more patience, there is actual efficient learning and training people can go pro in 1000 hours or even less. Tl;dr : Fortnite players that don't try to learn from every mistake they make waste their time.

“Good” is relative. If we started registered LAN leagues where you are playing in an age class or in a registered group of players (like as in chess or baseball or soccer leagues around the country) being good at Fortnite can be many things. And it should be! This is the greatest game and with a little vision from epic, they could turn it into something as big as MLB or MLS. There are many good players who aren’t in the pros. It is ridiculous to think that you aren’t good at something because you aren’t in the top 1000. We need to future proof Fortnite and build an infrastructure that makes it big and lasting. Lastly - BCD is a horrible player. He is just gaming the system to get into unreal. That said - epic isn’t doing enough to prevent this mockery of the game.

Most people to hit gc (because unreal in fortnite is trash) it takes them around 7k - 8k. and thats not even including the fact pros have around 20k - 30k hours. like peterbot for example has 3k hours (the best at fortnite) and Zen (the best at rocket league) has 16k hours. bit of a difference right? Fortnite is not hard to get good at. play it for maybe 6 months - a year non stop. could get in top 5 - 1%. Theres also valorant being harder and probably siege aswell. Obviously, I could tell because I could see them flicking in their superhero, skins and creative, but either way, I actually got quite fast. I’m Ruby 3 in Pville box fights my cousin plays on keyboard and mouse. That’s probably why I got so good at reflexes because he’s so much better than me even though I’m playing on 0 to 3 ping all the time. I play on 240 frames. But anyways, that’s besides the point just started a keyboard and mouse with the flu the other day feeling sick as hell still am and the best way I figured out how to build at least it to go into the worlds with slower, build speed, and then just slowly keep adding build speed once you can do like 10 or 1590s once you can do that you’re good to get height at least then try and learn edits like go to edit courses where the bills are already placed and just practice editing when they’re already placed then slowly start adding like floors and then you mastered that then add walls that’s already a triple edit but obviously like I said work on high ground retakes after all that and this is easy at least the 90s only took me 45 minutes mind you I’ve never played a keyboard and mouse game in my life except for Fortnite three or four years ago, but I quit because I was using the five below Booga set up speakers, keyboard and mouse. I guess it’s fine. I just didn’t have the mental power to keep practicing, but that’s the only way you’ll get better and every time you start to practice yourself mentally and verbally if you need to that you’re going to have fun while you do it then you’ll start feeling the satisfaction when you actually complete triple edits, and stuff like that, of course I can’t do edits and stuff on keyboard and mouse, but this is what my cousin has told me and I’m gonna take his word because he’s so good
