Taimur, you let us down this time…you should been asking Ali all the questions he asked when you got married…planning the wedding, financials (because Ali isn’t shy to talk about money) etc. Also, I thought Ali would’ve been more forthcoming about wedding deets

I love this podcast and how geniune and vulnerable you two are. I'm reminded of this quote from one of my fav sitcoms - "she crumbles under the pressure to be interesting." Why is there so much pressure to have unique/exciting hobbies and always be doing something cool? Taimur I'm curious if you really truly even want to do video things given that the mere idea of spending time just leaning about tech tools, even if you don't fully implement it, feels almost silly. Rooting for you both in what seems like a period of transition 🫶🏽

They both went to cambridge. I think he knew her before she was in the youtube academy. I could have sworn he said that. Somehow they connected on a romantic level
@suki73332 ай бұрын
@@shellyt556 Ah yeah it's possible they knew each other from before. No surprise they connected too, esp considering how many similar hobbies they have, and the sort of similar background they come from. Ali did a a video with her on her channel last year I believe, and his mannerism was SO different compared to how he usually is lol, so people were already speculating.

I wouldn't dismiss Taimur's idea that quickly. Netflix started out with renting dvds by shipping them to customers and having customers ship them back to Netflix before the rent date is due

@26:34 I'm curious why you care so much about low taxes in such an important decision as where to live? I would imagine that the more wealthy one is, the less taxes actually matter due to not having to worry about money in the first place. I'm not hating and I understand wanting to pay less taxes, but having that as a key factor for such an important decision when you in fact don't really need to worry about money is confusing to me. Anyway, congrats on getting married!!

Congratulations Ali! Sheesh, everybody's all grown up now. Taimur seems to think he's ancient now. Lol. Listen, you're not old until you have to think twice about your age when asked how old you are - not out of shock, but because you literally just don't remember.
