I actually read the Bible that discussed adultery. Remember the Samaritan woman who married five husbands but one of them is not. Jesus didn't say she wasn't committing adultery. Another question I have for you why does it say a wife is bound by the law longest her husband is living but once he is dead she is free to get remarried

It's false teaching to say that any remarriage after divorce is permitted. The "exception clause" in Matthew 5:32 and 19:9 is only for FORNICATION during the Jewish betrothal like Joseph was going to divorce Mary. There is no exception clause in Mark 10:1-12, Luke 16:14-18, Romans 7:1-3 and 1 Corinthians 7:1-11 & 39. Only death ends the marriage covenant. Hosea was married to a prostitute and her adultery did not end the marriage. Hosea forgave her and stayed married to her. Jesus said that remarriage is on-going adultery. To repent from remarriage adultery, you must confess and forsake it just as a gay marriage must be terminated.

Why I never saw this word on this level! I stayed in an abusive marriage for 9 years just because of judgement. While my marriage was a set up from the beginning where I really didn’t have a choice than to please my dad and a prophetess but deep down inside I knew i shouldn’t marry that man. Family pressure is real out there guys especially in those African family when you are closer to your 30’s. But thank you God for délivrance , I pray and fasted for God to show me that walking away from this marriage because it became impossible to live with someone who shows you so much hate , the dream I had on my last day of fast was my way out . Since December of last year I was officially divorced and single mother of 2 boys. Not that I am proud of it but in my case it was a délivrance because my marriage was a set up since the beginning and that man was not God’s choice for me.

Character and family trees are so important. There’s a guy in my town who's been after me for a while, but I told him I’m not interested. For one, every year, 1-2 people die in his family. December, his brother died, and shortly before his brother, his aunt died. Before her, his nephew died; before him, his cousin died, and the list goes on. The spirit of death is a part of their family curse. If I didn’t have the wisdom I have today, I would have fallen prey. Through knowledge shall the just be delivered.

Ive got to say Pastor, i know whom you speak of and its because of his teaching that i felt commendation about divorcing my former spouse after 11yrs. But because of the abuse to me an our children, i knew this was not Yahuahs will for me. My xhusband was a socialpathic covert narcissist. So the abuse was methodical, and done in the home but not outside the house. Its been almost 3yrs now since i divorced him, and i am now ready for what the Most High has for me and my children. I went through fasting and praying, and casting off everything that thru him i was bound too and i feel so free today. My daughters came to me recently and said mom we are ready for a good dad. People are picking spouses like they are buying a car. Looking for outward appearance, money status and don't expect to live with the consequences of not waiting on the lord! In this Bahamas and I can testify to this, pastors love to play match maker! (the lord say this is your spouse) all while the man slinging it to all the other church women. Their non believing husbands highly respect their wives and support their spiritual work. These God designed marriages are unique by design. My friend's father eventually got converted and became more spiritually standing than the Christian mother. All the non believing spouses in all the cases I ve seen hold the fundamental principles you talked of in terms of their personalities of being wise,prudent and good... Its a shame most of the so called "non believers" beat us with great personalities. With non believers what you see is what you get. There is no pretence.There is so much pretence in christianity. May the Lord help us so that we stop living lives of condemnation like pharisees...

Not only have i been in great sin in my marriage and felt continuous condemnation even after full repentance, but I felt maybe the Lord didn't intend the marriage for me. This proves scripturally, i was called to my marriage and so was he to me, that even king David was in adultery and mirder, yet a man after Gods own heart! The explanation of First Corinthians 7:14 is explaining the children in the marriage not from a spouse committing adultery( esp since Gal 5:19 states its of the flesh)

Key word: fornication, not adultery. Fornication is committed by the unmarried, or during a period of “espousement” or as we know it today engagement. Mathew 1:18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. Mathew 1:19 Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily. Mathew 1:20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost Note: Joseph was espoused (engaged) to Mary at the time she was found with child. Therefore once you are legally married you are under the law of marriage until the other dies. See: Romans 7: 1 Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth? Rom 7: 2 For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband. Rom7: 3 So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man. The scriptures does, however, support separation: I Corinthians 7: 10 And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband: 7: 11 But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.

Hi. Sorry about your situation. Marriage is a covenant so yes, divorce would be the breakage of one. But being in an abusive marriage is not God's desire for you either. Please seek counselling and God's face on what to do. However if your life is in danger, please get out!

This was wonderful and long overdue, but God's timing is best. The Lord is definitely pleased. There is much grace and truth in this message. The Bible says that God called some apostles, prophets, teachers, evangelist and more. You are definitely graced with the spirit of teaching. I believe one of the the errors, and there are many, is that many have raised them self up and have spoken a message that God did not give them. Many have not sought the face of the Lord concerning how to release his word. Many of them were not sent by the Lord to speak on such topics. If they were sent by the Lord to speak on such a matter then the fruit would speak for itself. Instead, we have many broken people who feel condemned with no hope. That alone should speak to the rotten fruit that many have released in the body. I've been wondering lately...HOW does God give you CONFIRMATION on if someone is your spouse? What does "Hearing from God" sound/look like? As it relates to this? I know God speaks to us in different ways and everyone's experiences with confirmation is different. I would really appreciate some guidance on this so I'll know what to look for. Thanks everyone. 🙏

The part about being married to an unsaved. Why would a CHRISTIAN MAN/WOMAN decide consciously to marry an unsaved? Unless they were already married, n one got saved, and the other is still not saved....then i could see that. But i would encourage any woman NOT to marry a man who is spiritually discerning n upright in God. For u to battle alone is tiring. Do it God's way the first time around. Which is the pastor Kevin's point. Mr. Kevin, this one is huge. I'm going to meditate on this some more!

I can give hundreds of examples of Christians who married Christians, and the marriage ended in divorce. At one point, statistics revealed that Christian marriages were leading in the divorce rate. I am certain that the focus was more on seeking God's intended choice for them. Instead of the only qualifier for marriage being that they must both be Christians, they would have stood a better chance of having a successful marriage. Just to be clear, I never encouraged anyone to go and specifically look for someone that is not equally yoked. The point I will continue to stress is to seek God's choice for your life. Many call themselves Christian and are, far from it, wolves in sheep's clothing.

All praises TMH I listened to you and it was so interesting to know the truth in your words I was really disappointed as i got married to a deceiver who like you stated in your examp!e of marrying to someone who only wanted status in the country after i got to know the real reason as we were only married for 9 mths i divorced him This man slandered me to the max all over the community i am living in plus with mostly all my relatives aboard who he never met on facebook He is still in the country i had to take out a Protection order as he is residing on the same street i am living on The authorities have not deported him as he is not legal here its a sham I am happy to know that The Most High is protecting me from this individual And i know God's time is the best time.

Pastor Kevin, the Lord showed me in a dream a group of Pastors, about 3 or 4 of them conspiring to do you and your wife harm. They were very angry at your teachings and feel like the only way to stop you is to do you great bodily harm. The plan is to ambush you and your wife and do as much harm as possible to you both. I couldn't tell the settings, but it seemed like it was in your country. I know the Lord has His protective edge about you, but wanted to share the dream. Please be careful Sir. Please understand that Forgiveness & Repentance aren't the same. Murder & Adultery aren't the same. Both are sins but the murderer is in jail serving a sentence & therefore he gets saved. While the adulterer is still still living in sin. Again, pls understand forgiveness (patdon from sin) & repentance (now in the act of making a mends from turning away from the sin you were just pardoned from) While the murderer serves his jail time in repentence. What does the adulterer have to do for his pardon?!

From what I understand God no longer recognises this union. And so if you divorce this person it's acceptable in the sight of God. But what if you decide to forgive the person does God still not recognise the union? Thanks in advance.

The yoke is an attachment, a hook, a fastener. In a work environment you're not yoked. You can leave whenever you want, you're not yoked to your coworkers or your boss. Jesus talked about that as being in the world but not of the world. We will have interactions with unbelievers. It's impossible not to, but we are not to be yoked. I love you Pst Ewing but thought I would shed this light.

Employers have employees sign contracts,documents, etc upon hiring. Why is it that people who have felt wronged by employers go back and shoot these places? They are yoked. Institutions and the people who access them are indeed yoked. You've never suffered warfare from a job, school, hospital? Have you never left a job because you did not agree with its practices causing yourself to be un-yoked?
