They will be equal to the Angels (Luke 20:36). This is not the Body of Christ Church. We do not reign on earth. We reign over the earth and over the angels (1 Cor 6:2-3). We are eternally in the Heavens (2 Cor 5:1). Our citizenship is in Heaven (Philippians 3:20). We are seated in Christ in Heavenly places (Eph 2:6).

The whole reason for the Body of Christ Church and the Dispensation of Grace is because God is also redeeming Heaven back to Himself through Christ (Eph 1:9-11), not just earth. Our inheritance is the heavens. Israel's promised inheritance is the earth. This is the secret of 1 Cor 2:6-8, that was hidden in God (not hidden in Scripture) since the world began (Eph 3:9). He can not also redeem angels with His only Begotten Son, but He can replace the fallen ones with the Body of Christ Church.

Not so: The earthquake opened many graves but the bodies were not resurrected, they were just openly visible to the people walking among the tombs and reported this to people in Jerusalem. Confirmation: Mt 11:11 Jesus said there had NOT been raised up among men a greater than John the Baptizer, but the person least in the Kingdom of the Heavens is greater than him. The "old testament saints" will be resurrected to the earth in the millennium. No record of Kings or Prophets of old walking around Jerusalem. It would have the biggest news of the day, even to the Pharisees! Ps 45:16 Your sons will take the place of your forefathers, you will appoint them as princes in all the earth.

If there were 500 priests, prophets and kings of OT resurrected they would have joined the Apostles but THAT NEVER HAPPENED. I have never heard of any writings describing these people walking around Jerusalem. You quote no source whatsoever. Their were 500 witnesses of Jesus' resurrection who walked around Jerusalem telling everyone about Jesus' resurrection. Surely King David would have been one you would say was among those resurrected, but Peter says in Acts 2: 21-32 that David was still in the grave just as before.

Don't you find it interesting brother that pre-tribers THINK the 1000 years in Rev 20 is LITERAL because its mentioned 6 times. However, Jesus said THE resurrection will happen on the LAST DAY. 4 times in Jn6:39-40,44,54 and Martha one time in Jn11:24 totaling 5 times. But pre-tribers COMPLETELY disregard what Jesus teaches PLAINLY. NO ONE can possibly understand the book of revelation until they STUDY what Jesus taught FIRST. And Jesus taught ONE RESURRECTION in our future. NOT TWO. (Just one example Mt13:30) NO time-period between. So, if pre-tribers could get their head around this, then and only then can they understand Rev20:12-15. Which is the LAST DAY, just like Jesus taught.

The 1000 years is literal and so is 2 resurrections: This is because the First resurrection is that of those to rule with Jesus during the 1000 years, so that is why they are raised first before the tribulation so they are ready to rule over those surviving through the great tribulation. Rev 5:10 7:14 The second resurrection is progressively during the 1000 years of those who will live on earth forever. READ WHAT JESUS SAID: Mt 5:5 Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth. Also Ps 37:29 The righteous will possess the earth and reside forever on it. Pr 2:21 For only the upright will reside in the earth and the blameless will remain in it.

This is a commonly misunderstood passage. There will be marriage in the resurrection. There just won’t be any weddings. Read it again. It’s speaking specifically about weddings and not the institution of marriage itself. If (1) everyone is already married (because it’s not good for us to be alone), (2) no one is getting divorced or separated (because sin either doesn’t exist anymore or is severely punished as we’re told in prophecy about Yeshua ruling with an iron rod), (3) no one is having children (because we’re all living forever and therefore don’t need to have kids to carry on the human race), and (4) everyone is taken care of by God (so the need to marry for money no longer exists), then why would anyone have a wedding? They wouldn’t. In that situation, weddings would become a thing of the past. There would be no need of them. Everyone would already be married

@@lw6138 I agree with the 2nd statement, but the 1st MAY have some caveats: It seems reasonable that those who survive through the great tribulation into the 1000 years would be able to marry (a hope I personally desire.) But God told Adam and Eve to multiply and fill the earth, not OVERFILL it. It is possible (but never stated) that God could at some point declare procreation (and perhaps marriage) as no longer needed as it would overfill the earth (think of all the resurrected ones from the past.) Ps 115:16 ...but the earth he has given to the sons of men. It doesn't say we will populate other planets. He could also change our nature: Examples: the animals will be changed to being peaceful and our language was at Babel. Rev 20 :12 says there will be new scrolls opened. Since we do not know what they will contain, we don't at this point in time know what God's purpose is in this particular aspect.

Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder." -Paul says: (1 Corinthians 11) "For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man. Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man. For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels. Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord. For as the woman is of the man, even so is the man also by the woman; but all things of God." -Ecclesiastes 3, v14 I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be forever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him. Was this Forever marriage just for Adam and Eve? Was it just symbolic?

@@CalvaryChapelFranklin Which law is Paul talking about? The Law of Moses? Roman Law? Greek law? That whole chapter seems to be saying that it is better to not get married at all. There are religious sects that are based on that concept. They don't last very long. We don't have the full context of what the Corinthians asked Paul, so it is difficult to deduce why he said it was better to not be married. The chapter talks about serving God , so he may be talking about those who are called to the service of the ministry, like Paul.

Paragraph is right but last sentence technically right but your intended meaning is wrong: Those Christians ruling in heaven with Jesus are indeed ruling over the earth. But Jesus said of the nation of Israel (because of their lack of faith in him) your house is ABANDONED to you. (Mt 23:38) The whole point of the Nation of Israel and the Mosaic Law was to point to Jesus' ransom sacrifice. They had the first opportunity to be Christians but in the main rejected that thus rejecting God. Note Jer 31:31 It was already foretold that there would be a different covenant than the Mosaic Law Covenant. However Gal 6:16 shows that Christians (of the heavenly calling) were now the "Israel of God." So in THAT way your last statement is correct, HOWEVER I believe you meant the literal Jewish Political Nation of Israel today will rule over the earth which is incorrect. Not all Christians will go to heaven to rule with Jesus, only the 144,000 will. (Rev 7, 14) The remaining ones on earth and those resurrected in the 1000 years will live on the earth. Only those of the fleshly nation of Israel who become Christians before, and those of them after their resurrection on earth of the righteous and unrighteous who then put faith in Jesus will live on the earth, BUT NOT RULING. Note Isa 2:2-4 says that in the last days people will be taught to learn war no more. That in no way fits the Political Nation of Israel today.

God's Kingdom is not divided between Jews and Christians, it is one Kingdom ruling from the heavens over the whole earth. Romans 2:28-29 Gal 3:28-29 Otherwise why would the Apostles (Jews) have given up the Law? Your original response shows a contradiction: "We are not equal to the Angels (Luke 20:36), we will rule over the Angels and over the earth (1 Cor 6:2-3). Israel will rule on the earth over the nations." You have "we will rule... over the earth", then "Israel will rule on the earth."
