Hi @wandilemoyo I think we're in a new era where few people will live that traditional lifestyle ...Polygamy, polyamory is now openly accepted and practiced again ...Married couples will live on separate adjoining properties (already happening) ...co-parenting (without being lovers) is a growing option ...most people will never marry ...and then some will cohabitate or choose marriage I think people are choosing what is the healthiest option for them. The traditional family was not modelled well by previous generations. And honestly, it seemed to stifle most people...especially the men But, yes we're living in a new normal.

I kindly ask Maud, with great love and respect, to give herself a chance to have her own personal experience of marriage. Although she have every reason to hate the institution because of how her mom was victimized in their home, I strong believe that as human beings we have the power to design and live the reality that we truly desire. Also we have the power to attract the conducive circumstances and situations that harmonize with our deepest desires. Maud, strong women attract strong men.

Lets all accept that Maud was traumatised by witnessing the abuse that was inflicted on her mother.......millions of African women are suffering emotionally , mentally and physically as a result of being abused by men in the institutions of marriage. ..in this day and age Maud should decide what is best for her life....and I respect whatever position she takes that will make her happy...

And you don't see that this is her way of living the reality truly desires-without a husband. If she wants to be single what does it have to do with you? In any case, more women will take this route and should be left alone to do it. Women can earn their own income, they should also decide how and who to love. I totally get her. Most people would rather fall into bad marriages and suffer their whole lives because marriage 'is God's design'. A lot of people need healing before they can live with someone else otherwise it's all about causing suffering for themselves and the other person.
