11:47 my mama is 59 and she thinks she’s sexy. Shes definitely one of those women who listen to her friends, and all her old hoe friends have encourage her not to be a grandmother and to dress more sexy. It’s very strange for me b/c my mother spent majority of my life dressing modest and conservative. Now she out here in see through pants. I WOULDNT WEAR SEE THROUGH PANTS AT 29. That generation is absolutely failed us. My mom still out here looking for a six figure man. Even when I tell her she depreciated I’m value, she be ready go fight and argue. But the reality of this is those men in her age bracket be in my face. Don’t listen to the delusion ladies. Snatch up the best man you can at your highest value. B/c it only gets worse.

"That's not what I get in my DMs" Ladies listen. Because there are a ton of men in your DM doesn't mean they want you for the same outcomes you want. 99.99% of men in your DMs just want to get the 🐈 and bounce. A man will overlook everything negative about you just to get the 🐈. Doesn't mean they want to marry or be in a lasting relationship with you. Men will holler at even a cockroach if it had a 🐈. You're not special because you have men in your DMs. Stop confusing DMs with marriage proposals.

I've seen my female friends DMs and there are actual marriage proposals and money being thrown up. Not just sex talk. I have a female friend right now who a guy just sent her airline tickets to Chi and has a hotel for a week. Older gentlemen with some health issues. She went and they didn't even get into it all the way. Some kissing and touching, but no sex. And no I didn't take her word for it, she showed me the texts and he confirmed that they didn't do anything. He's trying to move her and her kids up there and take care of them. Dude literally sent her financial plan of how he's gonna do it. He wasn't just talking. He's serious. The 1 thing he can't give her is a regularly active sex life. And for the guys that know when women creep up to 40 their sex drive gets stronger. So while most are just trying to get sex, I've seen more than a few guys trying to lock these chics down.

I’m a 41 year old BM, who is an engineer, own two homes, one in California and one in Texas. Im in great shape, have never been told I’m unattractive and literally have my pick of the litter when it comes to women I want. It’s like the roles reverse and I have no plans on settling down now that I’ve made it and have what most women seek, similar to women in their 20s. I think it’s disingenuous for women to ask men to settle with them when they’ve made it, when those same women wouldn’t settle when they had it.

I agree with you. But the road runs both ways a man that cannot get these women b4 shouldn't even look at these women once they've made it. One if the biggest problems is older women realizing they made mistakes at 40 and not telling younger women to avoid those mistakes. 40 year old women are still competing with 20 year old girls for the same men so they never really tell them how they can avoid the mistakes they made. That's why you got 50+ women taking thirst trap pics and thinking they still have the same appeal as when they were 20. We have too many 40+ women still living in the Cinderella fantasy delusion and thinking they can beat the odds and hit a buzzer beater and get that top 10% man.

When my ex divorced me it was truly a blessing unbeknownst to me at the time. I doubled my income, paid off my house and I'm looking forward to retiring next year and since I work in healthcare I'm surrounded by a plethora of single women. Although I'm 51 yo I'm often told I look like I'm in my mid 30's. It's truly sad seeing women in their 40's and 50's still out here single competing with the younger ladies I only date. I tried dating older women but the ones I've dealt with have their own agenda and try to run the relationship vs relaxing in their feminine. Traveling internationally has really opened my eyes up to the cultural differences such as Asian and Latin America ladies love, cherish, respect and need their men vs western women feel men are optional and easily replaceable. Currently scouting retirement location in Brazil, Thailand, Dominican Republic and Colombia.

That's how you see everyone? As a group? And nomatter what that individual offers based on Thier work and unique experience you judge them by the notion attached to the group you assign in? But you're shocked at someone saying "....we don't work for you"??? You're a pot and the people you hate is the kettle, made for each other. For you to insinuate all women or black women agree with this is abominable at this point. You tag yourself mgtow as if that's a badge of honor because you want someone to know you weren't forced out of the dating/ marriage pool rather you chose to take yourself out because I guess there's no women available despite reality. Seeking attention for your dysfunction. Don't come to convos about marriage minded people good or bad if you are not apart of that group who seeks it. Same thing goes for chicks like you. Truth is there's always been disagreeable women. But the truth also is there's always been better women too. The question is, do you qualify within yourself first. Too many of you mgtow labelers screwed thier own relationships up and because they have a habit of doing that everywhere they go they can't see themselves to fix anything, so they assume it's "everyone else" and then have no options but to be MGTOW. Stop it. You look silly. If you don't date okay cool. But why is that now my business to know? Because you think all women are monsters? That don't even make sense unless all men are monsters too. Grow up Sir....And I call you "Sir" on principle not because you're garnering any respect with your hypocrisy.

He lives with a woman now that he's been with for over 30 years... She's about to die from complications with cancer. He asked me the other day, "I never thought about this point in my life until now... What and where am I going to go?“ I think we all come to this point in our lives and it shocks us... And Alot of us are living as if we have unlimited time to" find someone" but those options are limited and should be RESPECTED. Relationships aren't like ordering a number 2 from Wendy's. Relationships are like gardens that you must tend to with consistency and care because they can disappear and depending on where you are in life... May be among your last. Courtney I understand it can be hard accepting certain realities but if you take that instead of hiding away or getting bitter but turn it into humility. Start trying to make up for what you lack and God will bless you with a man that is perfect for you. The work doesn't end after the wedding either it's only begun. I say this from experience. I was a single mother of 2 granted I was younger but still I had a moment of reality right before I met my husband that men don't want me other than for fun. It hurt my ego at first but it made me humble and God blessed me with a man I don't deserve. I work everyday to make his decision to choose me worth his while. Get in the gym, take your vitamins, take some collagen peptides, take care of yourself, glean from feminine wives even if they're younger than you, be open and you will get what you need for you and your daughter. ❤️🙏🏽

The part about people not wanting relationships is something I’ve been saying for years. The way people romanticize relationships as this thing where it’s all about one person proves it. Relationships require you to constantly work on yourself if not for anyones sake, for your partner. But like you said people only want the aesthetic and some have deluded themselves into thinking that the delusion is real.

Great interview, the way you was able to help her with self reflection was really good. Yet, she did make a good point about men who talk about and tell women about the WALL they hit as the get older. I am a man and I have too noticed some men who ain't got no ambition, no drive and basically nothing going for them trying to use the concept of the WALL to convince women to settle for them🤷🏾‍♂️...also about women submitting to men and men using bible quotes to support this. That's cool but again I see the same medíocre men telling women to submit to them when they haven't got their finances in order, they want to lead but they're going to lead themselves as well as the woman into chaos, again he hasn't got drive nor ambition..How can such a man ask for respect and submission when their actions does not warrant it 🤷🏾‍♂️ p.s. does white men spend time thinking or trying to get their white counter-parts to submit to them. Aint Respect Earned

When a woman “hits the wall” that means that she has reached the point in her life where not only is her physical appearance beginning to deteriorate but her fertility windows have all but closed meaning that this woman is becoming an increasingly undesirable choice for a potential mate. This usually happens to women in their late 20s to mid-30s and, if the woman in question happens to be single, hitting the wall makes it increasingly more difficult for her to find a man to date or for marriage. Ladies remember a new group of 18 year old females on market every year, they want the same man you do.

This whole interview was great because she's really aware of the things plaguing her and her fellow woman. But the most important thing she stated was at 25:18 when she admits that women don't really want to be in a relationship, and they're in it just for validation. But now social media fulfills that validation, so now having a relationship is pointless to them anymore.

KS touched on this brainwashing/indoctrination done to our women in regard to their role in relationships. If you asked the vast majority of Black women they would directly tell you they want their men to lead the relationship but then turn around and refuse to be led almost subconsciously self-sabotaging. Ladies, submission is not a bad word but it does require trust! Do you trust the man you are with to lead you? If the answer is no....why on Earth are you with him?

I just got out of a 3 yr long distance relationship. So, being long distance was a challenge, but we both were in. It got hard when the Pandemic hit. We both have 1 of our kids that is a challenge. He actually, had 3 of his(2 biological, 1 step) that he had strained relationship with even manipulative. I had one. So, my thought was how do we get them all(especially his youngest)on track. He flipped out. Telling me they are nothing alike started talking shit. I felt terrible at how he was talking and I started not to trust him. My mistake was trying to work with him having that thought to lead our family fairly and right. Clearly, I was mistaken. He basically wanted me to rent my house and only be bothered with his kids & grandkids. I have 2. One of which was still in high school making high honor with aspirations of being a doctor. My other went to college and we realized there were mental health issues that came about. Neither of mine are criminals, disrespectful or unruly. So, now that I have a man I have to limit my interactions or they can't visit me. Nooooo. That was a deal breaker. So. I have always told him that I'll be submissive as long as you lead us in the right direction. I was until then. He didn't want to listen to me or help to correct the situation. That was a problem to me. He hit the mark on everything else basically.....basically. but missed entirely on splitting me from mine and expect me to be grandma and step mom to his. Deal with 3 that didn't care for me(atleast by their unfriendly interactions over phone or in person, youngest mental issues/parenting issues) ex wife that didnt want to go away nor did he check her/set boundaries....Smh. Who does that.....not me.

Thank y'all for this Mature Discussion. This was a breath of fresh air. This is the best I've ever heard Ms. Courtney speak. I have newfound Respect for her. She's speaking of her Age and Experience. There are many Men myself included who would consider marrying an Older, more Mature Women. Sure I'd Love Kids of my own, but the Older I get it's less imperative, especially with the way a lot of Young Women are today. They're not Ready to be truly be Moms. If a Woman already has a child, then I'm paying close Attention to how she mothers the Kid. Yes, I've almost dated Single Moms. It's similar to if she doesn't have Kids. How would she potentially be a Mom and WIfe? No, it's not over after "The Wall". The issue is many Women become set in their ways. I and many Men, especially Black Men have experienced this whether Black Women or other groups of Women. These Women refuse to "settle" and listen to their Men. It's a Power Struggle, and no Real, Masculine Man desires that fight with his Woman, let alone his actual Wife. Masculine Men desire Femininity. I will say the thousandth time.

Marriage is about duty and responsibility, and when those obligations are fulfilled, the byproduct is interpreted as "love" (Duty and responsibility are "external", therefore they can be measured and improved on by both parties involved). Conversely, feelings and emotions are "internal" (self-serving, self-loathing, and selfish). Which cannot be measured, improved-on or shared by either parties involved, for the betterment of the relationship. Furthermore, feelings, emotions, love, and happiness are all "internal" experiences derived from "external" actions. In closing, committing to our duties and responsibilities within a marriage, reinforced its foundation, and overall structure to withstand the challenges of life.

It was interesting to hear that part about the leadership in the relationship and the problem some people have with the meaning of being submissive. So, having some years of experience working as a manager on different types of businesses, every time I enter a new job I always found at least one employee with a problem with some changes for the way to do our job. So after some debate, if the person don't seem to understand the logic I ended up telling them this, "if something goes wrong after following my instructions, don't get so frustrated because I, as a manager, am going to be person that assume the responsibility and the one giving explanations and giving some answers and/or apologies to our costumers, or to whatever person above us in the company hierarchy. You were only following orders and doing your job as expected" So, this, apply to a relationship and family could result in a dynamic where the leader can listen to the other person opinions, but ultimately the one that takes the decision and assumes the responsibility to repare the consequences, if there's something that needs it, and the others person would be still there by his side to help to repair but is not the one to take the blame. BUT at the same time, we are talking about a relationship where 2 of them chose each other, so it's supposed they trust each other that, one is going to be the best decision maker and the other one the best for helping with "the job".

Settling is never a one way street. Once a woman feels like she’s “settling” for what she sees as a lesser man that man is automatically settling for that woman if he chooses to stay. He’s settling for a woman who doesn’t see him as her first choice. Settling isn’t uniquely just a woman thing. Also by default of women wanting men who are better than them to lead them. So by default THEY ARE LESS THAN THEM! THEY ARENT HIS EQUAL IN ANY WAY! That’s the whole point of the man leading. What women don’t understand is that they can’t pursue success like men, reach the upper echelons of success and then expect to be able to be hypergamous and average women need to understand that not all women are 10s and thus can’t date in the same way that successful 10s do. The more successful a woman is, the smaller her dating pool is going to be within the parameters of hypergamy. If a woman is going to achieve career success like a man she’s going to be relegated towards dating down like a man and women refuse to adapt to this fact. Most of all women need to regain their humility and gain some practicality.

Ladies have for a while now said things like I can do ABC by myself I don't need a man , instead of realizing that 2 people bringing home 40k are better than one person bringing 50k . It's like money and education have become a reason not to need people, instead of being a platform to bear more fruit as a couple I think that the messaging there needs to change, now that women don't need men for sustenance, they have to evaluate the value proposition of marriage altogether . Courtney is delightfully engaging. This is my first time listening to this very competent interviewer. I thank him for the wonderful job he has done here. Courtney does NOT appear to want to be a wife. Like other modern women, she wants a "relationship" without the responsibilities. Women who use the word "willing" when discussing submission don't want the career of being a wife. They much prefer the job/career of being an employee. They see the latter (rightly or wrongly) as requiring less time, emotional investment, and constraints on their "freedom".

It was a hard realization to come to, that women, in their younger years, seem to play with their lives when it comes to relationships by the decisions that they make and then think a man is just suppose to accept all that they have done and to top it all off their excuse was usually that they were just young and dumb. The juvenile that got sentenced to 30 years for murder was young and dumb as well, but he still has to deal with those consequences.

When I tell other guys that it took 10 years for me to be sure that the woman I asked to marry me was the right one they get it. Women hear that different in inject the "nope i wouldn't have" attitude. Then I explain that the whole time I was watching her and putting her through the paces, I was also growing myself paying attention the the tests she was giving me. It was and is never a one way street. We were sensible. None of this bullshit you see today. We were really building the relationship, mending what was broken and growing professionally together. There were important messages that we did not get when we were young unfortunately that we are now trying to explain to some of these younger folks. I love that you had reflected on what your failures were and what responsibility you had to the marriage that you failed in. That's part of the growth process. Marriage is not overrated at all. Marriage is not the problem.

I used to buy into the whole feminism///don't need a man///prioritize && value everything but a man until LATER (whenever "later" is)... all of that stuff is lies and I refuse to buy into it anymore. Black women bought into feminism too heavily... to the extent that we left our men behind in the process and devalued them. Conversations like this need to be facilitated, especially by people with large platforms, so that more black people can start talking about this stuff.... and eventually, we can truly start healing as a community. Favorite quote from this video: "Our generation is more fixated on the aesthetic of love than the reality of it"...... that's deep!!

You can understand things intellectually yet not not be able to apply them practically. What KS was trying to say is lead by example. I often ignore what people say and watch what they actually do. There lies their actual priorities, beliefs, and motivations. What people say is often just talk. The things you do matter more than the things say. She did say something that is profoundly sincere about the reasons why women don't want to do the work to be wives. If they can get the validation elsewhere, they will with less effort.

@Matthew Gaines , if men are the gatekeepers of marriage and most men can't afford marriage for real why tell the women just get married as if it's thier decision? It's like, you know people will have issues over money but you want to create divorce by urging the women to get married over urging the men to be marriageable and get married to the chick cooking for and sucking them. There's more than 15% of women in stable relationships with black men living as a married couple while not actually being that. Plenty men have good women but they can't afford it or they afraid of marriage. Therefore it don't matter what women do. If the men aren't right marriage rates still gonna be what it is now. So come on with the sensationalizing talk about just get married. Life isn't two colors. Speak to the root issue which is not women. Women are a bi-product of men's choices.
@matthewgaines10
@matthewgaines10 2 жыл бұрын
@@MissOshunPossible And you somehow are the arbiter of what constitutes a real woman? Or are you saying you aren't a real woman, thus you are here? Please clarify. My understanding is there plenty of men who can afford to marry but women who come in these space all proclaim they need men who make "six figures or more" to be satisfied. Worse yet, they are looking for not only six figures but a man with a minimum level of education. Heaven forbid an electrican making $120,000 a year or more wouldn't do. A two income household can survive fine with a man and woman making average incomes. What has become apparent is people, particularly women's appetites have become insatiable. A man has to be smart, educated, high earning, look like Denzel Washington, as tall as Shaq, and equipped like John Holmes before he is considered marriagable in the eyes of women. That man isn't going to settle for some average female. With those stats, he has all the world as his playground. He would be best served by keeping things loose and not committing because he will have an endless stream of bed warmers. The problem with BW in particular is 80% of you all want the same 1%-2% guy. That guy is only interested in the top 5%-10% of women and there's more of you women who are on the top in looks that there are of him who hit both the financial and genetic lottery. That guy is as good as out of reach. While women are inflexible holdouts waiting for Mr. Perfect, suitable men observe this game and just shake their heads. They don't want to be "settled" for or a 2nd choice so they adopt similar tactics as top men, just with less options and avoid marriage too. Ladies, you have created the market you have. BM in 2022 make more, adjusted for inflation, than they did in 1965 when they were 80% married. They are 30% married today and those men have changed alot less than BW did. You keep telling yourself what you want to believe but the data doesn't support your beliefs.
