Hubby and I have been married 11yrs, trust me you will gradually learn to love and or respect each other's differences. That is a really important question - it is like living with your best friend everyday...there are disagreements and there is confrontation but that is not what defines your relationship. Its about growing with one another, learning each others ways and just forever growing closer to your best friend and the love of your life. God is central to everything and guides us every single day. It is a truly beautiful and wonderful thing :)! Its not without its challenges but boy are they worth it! For me, Mel is the love of my life, my forever number two and that is what marriage is - God first, wife second in all things. She is my family now. Anyway...sorry for rambling on and thank you so much for asking. God bless you always.

Congratulations guys! My husband is super untidy we are now 30 years in (I'm talking apple core on the floor) I'm OCD we've blanced each other out. He's a gentleman an amazing father. You fell in love always remember that. Marriage is about coexisting being raised very differently doesn't mean you can't gel. My husband is white middle class, I'm black British of caribbean decent. Remember if he's tidy up better than he did before recognise the improvement and remember that Rome wasn't built in a day. Hubby remember we all deal with our emotions differently some people need space to calm down (to prevent saying something that will regret) it might be worth talking about a what is and what isn't reasonable. All the best guys. And remember to talk respectfully the Bible talks about a gentle answer being sweeter than honey. It also talks about a harsh tongue an where it leads.
