Years back, my mum and Dad were like this couple. I so frustrated because my mum was not ready to live the marriage because she got married late and what will people say? I have to tell her to live my Dad or if she die I will not attend her funeral or allow anybody to talk about her to me again in live. I was around 12years then. Am glad she left him and raise myself and my brothers along with little support from him,she brought us up in the way of the Lord and she is doing just fine. Am glad my mum is still alive. My soul is lifted by this. I don't know what abusive marriage is. But I remember a guy i wanted to marry before my husband came in the scene who slap me in the road for not picking his calls and stressing him to come around to check on me. As soon as he noticed that my mind is made up on him, he knelt down and was pleading and was telling me that love made him to do so. I needed no prophet to tell me what will happen if I marry him. My point is that many saw this in relationship and believe that balm of Gilead will change him. A broken relationship is better than a broken marriage let this be our watch words. My final thoughts on this amazing (as usual, by the grace of God film) is that not all marriages are put together by God, though marriage is Gods own idea, man has taken it and turned it into their own idea. Sometimes we find ourselves situations just like this, and to be forced to stay, is to not allow the blood of Christ to do it's work in either party. I was married in Deeper Life Bible Church. My ex-husband is even a pastor in the church. For over sixteen years I suffered from domestic violence. He gaslighted me, blackmailed me and the worst of all, he came up with an evil agenda against my life that I had depression and mental disorder and attempted to force psychiatric treatment on me. Physical assault was the least form of abuse I endured in a demonic marriage. Emotional, psychological, mental and verbal abuse were the order of the day. Looking back now, I wonder how I did not lose my sanity, commit suicide or even commit murder. God saved me! His amazing grace and mercies saved me. I will tell my story one day. We are currently on this matter concerning my younger sister. A man who beats her up at every slightest thing she did and worse still, rapes her every blessed night at knife poing or with her hands tied up with ropes....oh God! I felt like he should be used for suya for doing that. The confusing aspect is that these people go through this for a very long time appearing happy and faking "minor accidents ". We are still on the matter with the Himan Rights Authority. Brother Fejos, if i was to be on such scene where the man was beating his wife in public, i sincerely won't leave him without wounds. Not all are physical violence some are emotional blackmail,good men on the surface but rotten in the insides, they disrespect their spouse, and make home unbearable for them, the woman keep wallowing in pain, and the thing the pastors will say is at least he's not physically assaulting you. I am so happy for this video,I pray God will give you more grace and more anointing in Jesus name,am also a member of deeper life and the same time a converted christian,I came from a family of nine, I was six when my mother got converted and it was war that almost claims all of our life,my dad turn from being a Muslim to an herbalist who wants to get money by all means,he started treatning my mum and insist that she must go back to being a Muslim,he will come back from work drunk around 12midnight and if we dear sleep before then we are already dead,we will wait outside until he comes back to give my mum a good beaten,if not the intervention of the church who rescue us from Ilorin to Ibadan my mum would have not been alive till now, am happy for this inspirational messages,more anointing sir,I wish to be a member of this great ministry one day.

Beautiful movie! It is nice to have some Christian African movies that use the words of God. That's ministered to your heart. What God puts together no man asunder. It's not every marriage God puts together. We definitely need to wait on God for our other half. Some of us make being married our small God. Everyone is getting married so we need to get married to keep up with the Jones so we settle. God's timing is perfect we should wait on God and seek His Kingdom first. It's crazy how in this movie married people are privileged than the singles when it comes to doing God's works. The pastor seems to be focusing more on the rules of the church than hearing what The Holy Spirit has to say. ❤❤

It is not only physical abuse, there's also emotional abuse, when a partner doesn't care about the other's emotions, ignores them, prefer others above your partner, doesn't talk to you, may separate and refuses to seek spiritual help
