The running joke on Adam is that while other beatboxers may have swallowed a percussion set, Adam swallowed an entire soundboard.

This is a popular song to first introduce Home Free to new reactors. Adam's harmonica sound is referred to as the "no-monica." Chance was imitating the jaw harp sound (AKA mouth harp, juice harp, & a few others). And Tim drops an entire octave for the line after his bass solo! Yep, these guys are overloaded with talent, honed by hard work.
@darrenshoults4620 Жыл бұрын
Adam Rupp is a fantastic beat boxer, but 3 other members can beat box as well. Including Chance standing in back with the black vest, he was doing the mouth harp sound at the beginning and end. These guys are multi talented for real.

Home Free is an amazing a cappella group. They can all sing and beatbox (to a degree) with the beatboxer Adam being incredible. They all take the lead depending on the song. This song is over 100 years old but was made popular in the movie. There are many covers of it. They are known for their amazing harmonies. Try Helplessly Hoping, I Can’t Outrun You, What We Ain’t Got, In the Blood, Country Roads, Die a Happy Man, Heaven. 😍🥰

This is one of the most popular Home Free songs. It was the first song I ever heard from Home Free & I was instantly hooked. It really showcases the talent of these 5 men (their tight harmonies, Tim Foust's bass & Adam Rupp's incredible beatboxing). They are my favorite a cappella group. This song is very old & is done in the bluegrass country style. It was used in the movie "Oh Brother Where Art Thou" starring George Clooney.

The song was originally published in 1913 and later covered by Bob Dylan, Joan Baez and a host of others. It was most recently in the movie "O Brother, Where Art Thou". Of course the singing, harmonies & beatboxing are terrific - this song includes Adam Rupp's 'no-monica'! There's an old live video "Joy to the World Hosannah" that has a version of the hymn unique to Home Free.

Hi, it’s me again. I would like to thank God for bringing me to your channel. I love y’all, and I think it’s a great that you’re spreading the message of God. It seems like a lot of people has lost their way, and if they would give their lives to the Lord, they would never have to worry about anything. I’m a 48 year old man who was raised by a very good Christian woman and I thank her for raising me the right way. The song Man of constant sorrow was originally sang by Dick Burnett in 1913. It was in the movie oh brother where art thou. Be safe God bless and is always one big love.

Guys, several of the guys can beatbox. That way when Adam has to do something like play the "nomonica" someone else can pick up the beat when they are performing live. Also when they perform live at a point the guys walk off and take a break and leave Adam on stage alone. He does a mix and then a drum solo, all live in front of the audience. there are several videos of it on KZbin. Just look for Adam Rupp drum solo, and I would pick a recent one because he has changed it a lot over the years.

I saw them live back in February this year. Yeah they all left Adam on stage and he had a huge set up where he was making/mixing his own beats. He’s unbelievable.

This is layered and when they do this live Adam uses a looper so he can continue the beat while No-Monicaing. Chances Jaw Harp is also recorded in the looper for some of the beginning. Finally, Austin joins Adam and they do a No-Monica duo when they do it live.

In this song they are making a distinctly southern (country blues/bluegrass) presentation--it definitely fits the lyrics of the song. Chance doing the jaw harp sound really sets the stage for this song's story, which Austin's twang fits phenomenally. Tim's bass line completely grounds the harmonies and Adam's voice percussion simply cannot be beat. This performance highlights a lot of Home Free's strengths although they also handle ANY other genre just as amazingly❣️🎼🥰🎶❤️ Some of my favorites are "Working for a Living", "Good 'Ol Country Harmony", "Land of the Free", "Remember This", "Elvira" (with the Oak Ridge Boys), "Undivided", "Try Everything", "Ain't Goin' Down 'Til the Sun Comes Up" (which is not on YT--it's on their official Facebook page), "Listen to the Music", "Understand", and "Road Sweet Road" 😍!

More than 40% of the human population does not believe in god, and the currents of civilization are leading to an increase in that percentage. No force has consciously given or taken anything from me. You are not aware that it is rude to impose your religious beliefs on others. Truly humane people help vulnerable people or animals and never donate money to the church. Your reaction to the song is what made people click on the video, not a lecture about non-existent forces. All that aside, you are both likable and have a pleasant energy.
