I second the comment below. It was noy very cool to not go back to the video after your first pause. The whole rest of the video was your crashing cars animation. Don't have the nerve to ask for donations if you can't present the video correctly to your viewers. So irresponsible.

Was at the Dangerous tour 1992 in Denmark at Gentofte stadium and saw the same performance and it was out of this world. Man in the mirror is my favorite MJ song.

You should definitely check out Geoff’s (the bass singer) solo work. All of his covers are fantastic, but Sixteen Tons is a great place to start.

VP is my favourite for various reasons... obviously their voices, their genre ranges, their independence and that they follow their own hearts, their incredible arrangemenr and video (theatrical) talents and the wonderful human beings that they are. Thanks for the reaction... soooo much more to go 😉. PS: thank you Dale! ⚘️🕊

There are bases who can sing lower and higher than Geoff, but none have the clarity and richness in tone that he has. But, the whole group and every featured artist they bring in is insanely talented. Happy to be on this journey with you!

The irony of it all is how at the end of the video her waving goodbye would be the last goodbye wave to her fans. The Latino community absolutely love her still. She was so down to earth, she made her fans feel as though she was part of their families. Such a major loss to the world. Her God given talent still lives on through the love that the Latino community carry.

Geoff is definitely my favourite bass singer, Tim foust of Home Free and Elliot Robinson are close behind but Geoff’s richness and the fact that you can still fully understand him even when he’s singing in the basement haha

I had the midwives play this song at my daughter's home birth! I wanted her to be born first hearing virtuoso musicians like Deep Purple! They are all highly trained professional musical artists and you were right to surmise that other bands tried to emulate their progressive rock style! Ian Gillan ( the singer) also sings lead vocals in the rock album Jesus Christ Superstar...which is a rock classic! Go down the Deep Purple ( or Rainbow) musical rabbit hole and you will learn a lot about great rock music and the GOATS in their field!

Fun fact! They don't generally do dance choreography because it takes them a LOT of time and effort to produce just one music video with dance choreo in it! So they don't do them very often! (Dance isn't their forte, lol)

Love ya, yes a strong enough statement, but true😢. Who knew?! Lol There weren't any voice enhancing microphones at that time. There were just human beings who were blessed, as we were, to hear their hearts. Crazy that we were able to hear all these songs ya react to....can't compete today! Lol

It's hard to find anyone else that can drop B0's for 15 seconds like Geoff does in Valhalla Calling. And, you're right, the standard is so high for VoicePlay, it's just hit after hit after hit. You'll love Hoist The Colours (from Pirates of the Caribbean), Nothing Else Matters, Creep, Seven Nation Army, Warriors, Dream On, Theme from Halo, That'll just get you started. Enjoy!

Geoff held that first B0 note for 15 seconds. The first time he did a B0 was in their "Halo" video. It says 6 minutes but it's actually 3 minutes and then a 3 minute speech that is definitely worth watching.

@Marriage4Dummies First Off: You forgot to bring the VoicePlay Video back after you swapped it out while you were talking. Second Off: You asked for other Bass Singers that are similar to Geoff Castellucci, well here you go. The first one that comes to mind is Tim Foust. He's the Bass Singer for another A Capella Group called "Home Free." Like Geoff, he has his own personal channel and does Solo Covers as well. The second one that comes to mind is a newer group called "The Bass Gang." All four of them are insane. Heck I'll throw in a third A Capella group called "Voctave." They are only part-time unlike the other groups because the vast majority of them sing in a group called "Voices of Liberty" which primarily sings at Walt Disney World in Orlando Florida. So, yeah, if you two like Disney, you'll love Voctave. The reason I decided to mention them is because their Bass Singer, Karl, is totally underrated. He's probably at the level Tim and Geoff. He's the Black guy, by the way. And I mean that literally. He's the only Black guy in the group as of this writing. They don't really feature him, but if you want to hear him featured, go listen to their "Disney Heroes and Villains Medley" and make sure you bring the full music video and not just the audio track. Karl sings the first song of the medley which is "Friends On The Other Side" from "Princess and The Frog."

I'm sad for the generation that never had the chance to see DP perform live. I've had the privilege to see them a dozen times. Always a great fun show, audiences went wild! The first time I saw them play was the Mark 1 version (this was Mark 3) at the Hollywood Bowl in the 60s. Tickets cost a mind-boggling 50 cents each (eat your heart out).
