Gayle Cheung well no. There are countries where this is 100% illegal, you can’t marry a minor and you can’t be in a relationship with them, even if the parents agree. So yes, these „relationships“ might happen but they are forbidden and if somebody would find out the adult would go to jail. It is crazy to me that this is possible in the U.S. but sadly not surprising. That country has a lot of room for improvement. This shouldn’t be allowed in any country.

Mohamed Gueliane theres been cases of young girls born in britain being married off to older men in arranged marriages. in one specific case, this girl had run away and tried to tell police many times what was happening, but nothing. once i believe she even went to a homeless shelter but she was turned away because she was underage. she got married and moved to a different country with her older husband, where she drank bleach and attempted to kill herself. she was sent back and treated in britain, where eventually she was murdered by her parents in an honour killing, at age 19. there are many other young girls just like her in europe being married off to older men. it is a problem in EVERY country.
